Hi!!! I have a question about this program
Full Body Training For Advanced Lifters
I just started it and I love it so far, but I’m confused as to whether or not there are 3 rest days and 4 working days, or 1 rest day and 6 working days?
Also, is it detrimental to stay in that order? Or does it not matter when you take your rest days as long as you get the 4 days in?!
As in, could I do
Day 1,
Day 2,
rest day,
rest day,
Day 3,
Day 4?
Or even throw in a rest day between working days and etc.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!!
Work, work, rest, work, work, rest, rest. Says it in the article, and I’m not sure how you’d rearrange what he wrote to get 1 rest day and 6 working days…with full body workouts.

Ah thank you so much for clearing that up!!! Do you think it would be ok to work any 4 days, as long as you’re getting the 4 days in?!
I am always hesitant to give approval of even the smallest change in someone else’s program, but I think the idea here is you’re getting in 4 full body days a week, and you shouldn’t do more than 2 days in a row without a rest day. That only leaves 2 ways to set it up - WWRWWRR or WWRRWWR, which are pretty much the same. If you need to take an extra rest day once in a while and make it an “8-day week”, I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt, but when in doubt, do the program as-is.
Correct. 2 days in a row and then rest. If you’re training hard enough you should DESIRE that rest day.
