AM Weight: 97.7kg OK we came down and are on the right track.

Beat Up from the Feet Up…to my Lats. I have some kind of pain on the outside of my leg. It feels like where the femur attaches to something higher than that? IDK probably an over use injury. I am also just a bit beat up all over from about the lats down…but those delts HEALTHY AF!!! Maybe this year I get the 220kg Bench I was supposed to get last year. Really any PR would be cool.

Pokerz I have dropped down to stakes incredibly hard for me to lose at but at the same time this is a huge hit to my hourly. Honestly I would rather make 50% less with 100% less stress anyways though.

AM Weight: 97.7kg I will take it. Looks like TDEE is around 2700 calories and that was on my easiest laziest day so I can work with that.

As bad as my hamstrings felt last week they felt so much worse today. Those 4 exercises took 2.5 fkn hours. Soo fkn hungry, too tired to eat.

High bar squat is finding its groove. I think I really underestimated how important rep work is just to practice a movement.

Lastly I am getting quite the itch to Powerlift. The way the big 3 are going I really think I have something big here (for me).

But as it is I have committed to Hypertrophy and cut the rest of March.

March Gameplan:
Continue hypertrophy work.
Continue cutting. If I lose more than 1.5kg over a 7 day stretch then high days (NOT CHEATS) until the weight loss for a week is under that thresh hold.
And some cheats sometimes but not more than once a week. Like tomorrow, after my 2nd workout and the Wife goes out and the Lakers/Bucks game is on the telly.

OK time to grind which stress levels way down, it feels great. Paycuts all day LOL

Funny Thoughts:

Do I think that 2.5 hour training sessions are optimal? Probably not, but the way I see it the times that humans were in their absolute best physical condition they were moving and fighting for their lives 24 hours a day. So I think I can handle a little leg session. Plus, I dont think Humans starting naturally producing Trenbolone until Mike Ohearn so I have that going for me too.

AM Weight: 97.15kg Nice drop. We will be cheating tonight but I think it will be pancakes and all the toppings!!! Peanut Butter, syrup, eggs…I dont have bacon :frowning:

Would you not add more tables to offset the cut to winrate or does that just negate the “less stress” aspect of it?

Mind me asking what you play etc.? Just curious as it’s a world I’ve been part of for a while. You might have stacked me once or twice in the past haha.

Diet: No Cheats Today but my cals will probably still be north of 4000. Instead of a huge cheat meal at the end of the day I just hit a ton of snacks through out the day to get me through the 2 a day.

Pokerstars has a cap on amount of tables you can play of 4 so I would need to add another site like Partypoker but there software is kind of bad and their games worse.

In general though more tables would mean lower winrate so your hourly might stay the same. At the same time though I think more tables increases volume so variance is smoothed out sooner so it could be less stress.

I actually had a uh duh moment. I made a kind of major tweak to my game and now I realize it didnt work so I am hoping that will help things.

Major Tweak:

So I started opening low rundowns 8675 / T987 double suited hands with the sole intention of 4bing them when I get 3b. It makes you look nuts and when you get it in vs AAxx you have like 45% equity (small problem) so your opponents will start stacking A high broadway hands vs your AAxx which now they are getting it in with like 30% equity which is a huge problem for them.

In holdem terms: I opened 65s with the intention of getting it in Preflop to get increased action in the future. In holdem it sounds way worse…it also is way worse in Holdem tee hee.

Where it went wrong:

When opening these hands I wasnt getting 3b enough so I end up just playing a hand in multiway pots out of position which is basically lighting money on fire.

I went in to detail because I figure you would find it interesting.

Kids these Days I tell ya what LOL so yea when I was a pro 10 years ago we didnt even have this technology. And now this is so basic (outdated) that the game is just super nuts.

Top Line is our double suited rundowns only getting it in vs AAxx.
2nd Line is if we add AAxx to our range.
3rd line is villain adding KKxx (which is a pretty natural adjustment)
4th line is if they add A high broadway hands which is another very natural adjustment.

I suppose overall not getting 3b enough isn’t a problem because it means you’re not playing aggressive games. Though yeah it is a problem if you’ve got 8754 UTG in a three-way pot haha.

The amount of tools available now is just ridiculous. Piosolver still blows my mind whenever I see it. Omaha is at least safer from that sort of thing (so far).

I haven’t played in years actually. It just got to be too much work for what I got out of it and I wasn’t prepared to put in the effort to beat midstakes or learn Omaha properly.

AM Weight: 97.7kg Vacuum 90cm Pretty happy with that. I am being very carfeul to stay on my diet today to spin out after about 4300 cals yesterday for the 2 a day.

Last 2 days fat has melted off especially in my abs and glute/ham tie in. Something happens when I push past the 4-6 day mark of not doing anything stupid that fat loss goes into high gear. Despite still having huge fat pockets in my lower back I can see my Xmas tree better than ever this morning.

AM Weight: 97.15kg I am going to have a bit of a fun day today. Cals should still be sub 2400 but Beef and rice most meals. I have a big batch of Lady Grey Tea on. Poker most of the day. Hopefully I have time to watch the basketball game from Friday I still havent gotten to. And I will try to get three 20 minute walks in today.

I figured I would gain weight yesterday I didnt think it would be that much. Yesterday was rough too. I was hungry and weak most of the day. Alcohol cravings started. Not sure how much of that is life or hunger but ugh. I am not super worried by only losing 0.2kg last week as I havent gone to the bathroom since Friday and my vacuum is still 90cm. Still no more off days next week and no more beef days.

Goals: Sub 96kg and Sub 89cm Vacuum

EDIT: This week will probably be the dream crusher of Powerlifting aspirations…or I wont have lost any weight again LOL

Just brutal. No motivation, no will power, no strength. That middle one is definitely the real issue. I had it set in my mind I could hit a heavy set on deads but it wasnt there then I kind of just did what I could do to survive.

My mindset going forward will need to change. As far as powerlifting goes this was a shit workout but it was a pretty good pump.

I am taking solace in that I think my waist is coming in and some other places seem to be getting less blobly and a little more shapely.

Women Strike There is a nationwide strike for women’s rights here. It started yesterday and they did some damage in Mexico City (YAS QUEENS!!!). Today a lot of women are just staying home today. Not calling in to work or being on social media. Just going dark. Pretty big pile of bullshit we are still having these conversations in 2020. I really dont understand why people cant just be not assholes.

The bad news is I had a Gastritis flare up yesterday. That in part can account for such terrible strength yesterday. Today I am afraid to eat but pretty hungry, obv.

The other bad news is I legit think potatoes were the cause. I kept my diet in check and stayed away from bad foods all weekend. Unless this started Friday when I ate a ton and then went to bed idk. Fk gastritis.

The good news is…

AM Weight: 96.65kg If I do this right a lot of that weight will be permanent and then I can just get right back in to the groove of fat loss.

Kept diet in check most of the day except 2 deep fried tacos which really sky rocketed the cals. Stomach is getting better. Craving salt and fat.

And thats it for today. Gonna grub and bed. I should be 100% by Thursday as far as my stomach goes and 85% as far as Bikini Prep strength goes.

AM Weight: 96.95kg Very happy with that after the tacos yesterday. My upper arms are probably the worst fat pockets I have left (ratio of fat to muscle wise). Upper quads are coming in and lower abs starting to show unflexed. Having said that, there is a super long ways to go but I reached the point where less motivation is needed because changes are visible. Next milestone is being literally insane from hunger and wasting away. #soyouwannabeabodybuilder

Diet Tweaks: Adding ginger to my rice, lowering protein amounts with carb meals and cutting carbs out earlier in the day. This still leaves room for sauces and random pieces of fruit. When this runs its course I will make one more of the meals just 100g chicken.

AM Weight: 96.95kg super happy with that after a few days around 3k cals. My energy levels are shit though. At this BF% (and energy intake) there is absolutely no reason to be feeling like this and it isnt like I am losing too quickly. Plot Twist: I am actually 4% body fat but I am the first person in the history of the planet with actually thick skin. 2 more weeks then its Unicorn Protocol.

Diet/Stomach Ginger in my rice has seemed to greatly help nausea and digestion. I will be adding Cumin tomorrow. Also cals currently scripted at 2300 but I am dying so I will find some fruits or popcorn.

As my grandpa would say I just farted around after that drop set. Thankfully today that was figuratively rather than the literally it has been with my stomach issues.

For all my rants I will include 3 happy stories. Today while driving people actually let me and somebody else switch lanes rather than take our blinkers as attacks on their mothers. Nobody I know has the Coronavirus. Lastly this is my favorite thing I saw from Arnolds:

They finally got somebody who knows their shit as an announcer (Kim Walford). One announcer called mixed grip “split grip”. If this isnt quite your thing skip to the 23 minute mark and it gets awesome. Passion, competition, comradery, friendship. It made me smile.
