I almost only played 200 hands today because I was up and I just wanted an easy win after the last couple days of ugh. But I dropped to my lowest stakes and grinded another 800 and I will be calling it at a half day. Its a cold rainy day so I am thinking a Jaws marathon…and hidden in the Jaws 2 folder of the flash drive is some adult films we havent watched yet that will mysteriously be on the que :drevil:

Cold Rainy Day So its like 8 celcius (47 farenheit) and a bit drizzly so for us Mexicans its snow pants and parka season…except this one loco hombre at the gym this morning with his water that had been partially frozen. Our gym is NOT warm. Bars were cold to the touch this morning. Dude must be part Polar Bear.

Finished pokerz and meal prep for the AM stuff and watched the Lakers replay from last night got me thinking…

Western Conference goes through LA, Edge Lakers

Houston Rockets: They will win a ton of regular season games but Harden’s game isnt nearly as effective in the post season when fouls are harder to earn. Westbrook and Harden both have issues getting gassed in the post season but the 2 should help each other to be fresher in the post season. Assuming they dont start getting in fisticuffs over who gets to hold the ball before then.

LA Clippers: Depth and the front court will be their issues, if they have any. George and Kawhi will be the coolest defensive back court duo ever. No I am not forgetting MJ/Pippen. Offensively they could be limited. I expect the 2 of them to shut LBJ pretty much down.

LA Lakers: LBJ will be extremely limited against the LAC back court. But LAC do not have an answer for the AD, McGee and Dwight front court. AD can shoot a 3 so I would at least try to start all 3 of them with Danny Green and LBJ against the LAC back court. A kind of you can have the outside, we taking everything else approach. This is probably why I am not an NBA coach (along with several other reasons).

Rest of the West: Either too young or incomplete to go the distance against the above 3.Having said that I would not be surprised if a Utah, Minnesota or Denver team upsets any of the above 3 in a series (esp LAC or HOU). I just dont see them being able to come out of the west.

I started benching in the squat rack with a different bench that is higher. Feels much better although a little difficult to get it out of rack. Also delts felt so good I actually gave a ā€œfk yeaā€ when I hit a pain free 315 double for one of my last warmup sets. Also form and bar path were much better today.

Yesterday left a real bad taste in my mouth plus the thought of doing barbell rows made me nauseous. OK not really but it might could have. It went better today but not great.

Programming: I have been looking over my sheets from my last prep that I was the strongest I ever was and seeing what I did and what went right. Literally nothing went right or to plan. I just did what I could when ever I could and that was the strongest I ever got with in a week time frame.

Side note, whoever invented the word nauseous seriously learn to fkn use letters you chump. Aint nobody gonna spell that word right and it isnt like there are a ton of words close to that one that you have to put a finger print of letters in the fkn thing.

OK Off to a birthday party for an in law, hate this social shit LOL.

DAY OF THE DEAD PIZZA!!!

I am actually really glad you asked because now I get to tell you all I learned from this pizza. The Pizza is actually called Catrina Pizza (marketing ploy I of course fell for). It is named after ā€œLa Calavera Catrinaā€ which is the skeleton lady you see on Day of the Dead. If anybody is wearing skeleton face paint they are ā€œCatrinaā€ (I think there is a different one for men but you get the point).

La Calavera Catrina is a painting that was originally satire making fun of Mexicans who were adopting fancy European customs in the early 1900s. I am paraphrasing and it goes a lot deeper than that into social inequality as well. I actually think one of the coolest things about Mexico is its not even their willingness but their eagerness to try foreign cultures. A lot like the USA being the melting pot, Mexico doesnt melt as much but it does try everything.

HEAVY BENCH DAY!!! And some inspiration from the Goat Bench Presser.

Pokerz: So I am in a bit of a downswing so I did some leak finding and I discovered playing bad preflop hands is bad for your winrate, huh, who knew? LOL It is a bit more complicated than that especially in Omaha but that is pretty much the jist. I also found out I am running insanely bad especially with double pair hands. With those hands I should be flopping a set 1 out of 3.5 flops. I am hitting a set under 1 out of 8.

I am also going to try really hard not to play in the morning and only in the afternoon. This is where some serious will power is going to be needed.

435 felt better than 415. Most likely for the mock meet I will go 385-415-435. I dont really think after Squatting I will have anything more than that and I would rather smoke my 3rd than miss it. If the next 2 weeks of bench go reallllly well and 415 is a total smoke show I will go 440 3rd just to get that 200 keys.

2 Week Repeating BENCH PROGRAM: I have ran versions of this for years but I think this is the best Bench program I have ever used.

Position Workouts #1 and #3 so that you get the extra day of rest. So I bench on Monday Thursday so Workout #1 and #3 are on Mondays. But say you bench Monday Friday then Workout #1 and #3 would be on Fridays.

Its better to go under those %s than over and as with all programs some autoregulation may be needed. Workouts #2-4 all sets are RPE7 if that makes it easier. Same with Board Press.

The point of this is to get volume with heavy weights while not destroying your Delts. As Stefi Cohen said (paraphrased) volume below the 80% range really doesnt do a lot in the powerlifting realm.

Having said that there is still a lot of merit in getting in that volume with lighter weights (just not at the sacrifice of heavy weights) so for that I do Board Press.

Board Press for me is more of a core/arch workout while also saving my shoulders. You can do more Comp Bench or Floor Press. Dips can be any compound pressing movement you want I just prefer Dips. Incline Bench or a shoulder press would be good substitutions.

If you are doing a Lower Upper Split then just do the Board Press and fill out the rest of the workout with pulling movements.

Diet: Bye Bye Vertical Switching my beef for Chicken Breast. Part of this is I want to lean out but also I really didnt get the performance boost from beef that people say. The issue might just be that beef is slower to digest so I was eating a ton less carbs and more fats. So with chicken I will be bumping the carbs and getting set meals in rather than as I am hungry.

Wifey and I got into it at like midnight and then I played poker until like 4am and she laid on the couch during so neither of us slept. It wasn’t really a fight as much as I want a real job which means moving to the USA which neither of us want to do, at all. So that discussion was animated. Anywho I am so tired I am physically ill.

I am just incredibly sick of gambling for a living. It is incredibly stressful. When I was younger it wasn’t an issue. I only had to worry about me and the games were so much better.

There were other issues today. Like my lower back is still fried from deadlifting Friday and Saturday. And I have a knot in my ass that wouldn’t let me get into position to deadlift.

I don’t see any way I manage a decent total so most likely I am starting my off-season protocol :broken_heart::broken_heart:. TRT test (wife will love that), more body building program (fun) and in time to day drink in between sleeping through football games on Thanksgiving (my family won’t let me not celebrate anything).

We will see how I feel Friday but I am not hopeful. Or I am, I honestly think an off-season right now would be great prep for January.

I might keep the bench program just because how well that is going. There is another version that I comp squat Saturday and Monday and Thursday I do Front Squats for a super Dead focused program.

April 15th 2011 the DOJ shut down online poker in the USA by sneaking the bill into an anti-terrorist bill so about 6 months later I moved to Mexico so I could keep playing poker for a living. It was here or Canada but Canada is way stricter on their immigration and banking laws (and way colder). Belize was actually my first choice but when I went there they were stricter than Canada on their banking laws, who knew?

My spanish is terrible and I am an illegal so my options are sell drugs or my body. My wife cant find a job partially because she is a woman and mostly because there are no jobs. Even so the minimum wage is so low a lot of jobs are more expensive to actually have.

AM Weight: 99.65kg So by switching to chicken I have lost a kilo in 2 days. My waist actually came in a bit more than a cm too judging by how my belt felt yesterday. My appetite has picked up a bit. When I am eating that much beef it just sits in my stomach and then probably just sits in the rest of me and I think that is the Kilo and cm I lost.

Side note, the whole beef and rice thing to get maximum calories I think would work better if they had a variety of protein sources particularly ones that digested faster. Unlimited budget I would probably go chicken and fish through out the day and maybe the last 1-2 meals beef. Also adding dextrose to every meal to bump easy to consume calories.

Any who, study poker time then early gym then actually play poker time.

Nandrolone Sucks: There are only 2 real steroids in my book. Test and Tren after that GTFO…I guess and orals. I jest but for me the amount of Auxiliaries I have to run for even 600mg of Nandrolone to keep from getting Gyno makes the use of Nandrolone worthless. If I am going to get gyno it will be from Tren where the effects will be awesome.

Speaking of Tren I was planning out injection protocols for my cycle next year and then realized I dont need more than I ran last time and since I keep records of everything it took 5 minutes to find what that was. 875mg Test and 700mg Tren. The sides were manageable, strength was there and injections werent terrible.

2020 gonna be fun. This is the plan if everything goes to plan…so I assume I will get injured like January 3rd (before prep even starts) and everything will change.

For the POWA bulk I will probably end up around the 102-105kg BW so I will need all 13 weeks to lose the weight needed to be sexy…I mean to those not turned on by bears. RAWR lol Lucky my wife actually prefers me fat…but thats just because she has to worry less about other women finding me attractive. In my experience she is literally the only one who finds me attractive.

AM Weight 101.55kg I stopped Adex a couple days ago to let my estro come back up. I ate everything yesterday and aside from that probably holding a bit of water so it worked. Gyno actually got better over that time which is just the Nandrolone leaving my system. The only good thing about Nandrolone is it comes in Phenylpropionate ester which the half life for that is about 60-75% of the Enanthate ester (guestimation). I couldnt imagine using Decoanate ester realizing you hate the drug then needing to wait another 4-6 weeks for it to be mostly out of your system.

Pokerz LOL I hit a wrong button on my Tracking software and it went into a 20 hour clean up type thing. I exited out but that just shortened the process to 1 hour. #oldpeople

Pit Shark is just me holding on to the smith machine doing body weight squats. Decent workout. Still pretty annoyed about my glute. I had hoped that incline walking might open it up enough to let me squat but no.
