I might have gotten a bit over excited about the TUDCA. No doubt it helped but I am still dealing with appetite loss (but its getting better) and hiccups / burps. Did some research and thought this was funny:

You can also add sugar to the list. Which the straw that broke the camels back was Thursday. We ate Molcajete and Tacos a bit on the spicy side and SUPER fatty. It came with garlic bread that I think was just grilled butter, it was awesome. Then I had a huge Ice Cream Brownie thing later while already full #YOLO

Going to be be skipping the Anadrol and all other oral stuff except the TUDCA and anything else my Doctor tells me to do.

From Thursday. LOL You can’t ask Mexicans if something is spicy. The ketchup they grew up on was made from Jalapenos. My ketchup was made from sugar and a splash of Tomato. My Wife actually has this problem more than I do as we joke ketchup is spicy for her. She doesnt do Spicy at all. I can a little.

Really happy with this. No Caffeine. No Anadrol. Day after a taxing Squat workout. 1 tiny meal for breakfast after barely eating friday and I got 290kg
 eventually. I think I should be good for 625 to 645 next SBD day.

And really not upset I missed the 290 mostly for grip. Part of it was I just over hyped and didnt even set my hook, like as I was pulling I noticed like oops need to squeeze bar and by then it was too late. Also the bar has about 0 knurling and I had almost planned on strapping up for anything over 270.

I might need to start working on block pulls though or something to hit this

JJ is 3 weeks into his first proper cycle and hit a PR of 250kg then another PR of 260kg. I am super jealous
I mean proud. So proud LOL. No I am super happy for him. He really thinks I am cool but in a couple years everything I have done he will make it look silly easy. I am jealous not of him exactly but we always have those things we wish we could go back in time and start earlier. Poker, Powerlifting (and roids) I think are my 2/3. Poker I would be retired now. Powerlifting and Roids who knows? Maybe burned out and broken so I guess I will just be happy I can do this now.

Diet:
Friday: Maybe 1200 calories
Saturday: hopefully a lot idk. Breakfast was 1 tiny potato and 2 small chicken tenders. Post workout a banana and protein powder and greek yogurt smoothie. I bought 2kg of Pineapple and will be drinking mint and ginger tea all day. Hopefully I can get right for tomorrow to get a normal day of eating. Then start popping the Abombs again which I will only use for PL days.

OK have some paper work and going to watch some footballs.

EDIT: Just watching the 290 I missed for the first time and that was a lot closer to lock out than I thought.

Hiccups Log Day 3: Fkn miserable. We dont think it is for indigestion anymore. More likely now we think the Corticosteroid injection I took gave me the hiccups. Caffeine and the normal steroids and all the food etc I am on probably could in theory help trigger it. Generally the shot should be out of my system in 2-3 days so in theory this could be my last day of near constant hiccups. Like I am having waking Sleep Apnea almost. And actual Sleep Apnea too it seems so time for me to lose a bit of weight. Honestly, pretty fkn miserable. Then I remember all the shit my Doc went through (he’s bionic now).

OK Happy Sunday, gonna try to eat and sleep as much as possible. Football should be good for that.

3 Day Running calorie total: maybe 3000 counting breakfast this morning of yogurt, banana and protein powder.

So fucking pissed. So last night after hiccups for 3 days and my throat was starting to close I went to the hospital.

“Well it’s the steroids”

Oh go fuck yourself.

Thursday I got a dexamethasone shot (corticosteroid stronger than Prednisone by a lot).

It worked.

Well next day I got hiccups that wouldn’t go away. By Saturday my throat was closing a bit and it was incredibly unnerving. Also the injection location was/is incredibly painful. Far worse than the original allergic reactions in my delts. Sunday night we go to hospital.

The doctors had 0 fucking clue what was wrong with me but still knew it was the steroids the fucking morons.

Blood tests came back really well and then they ran an EKG and my heart is really good too. So some silver lining. Obviously it was still the steroids though.

I am near certain I had/having an allergic reaction to the Dexamethasone shot. They of course didn’t want to hear that but half life times and intensity of everything lines up perfect as does the fucking painful lump in my ass.

They finally gave me the prescription I needed to counter that issue and this fucking city doesn’t have it anymore (we went to 10+ farmacias). That’s not entirely true, one place did but he couldn’t read the doctors hand writing. So we went back to the hospital and a different doctor from last night gave me lidocaine. Are you fucking kidding me. Pain pills aren’t even treating symptoms anymore. No wonder people hate doctors and hospitals.

Now I am afraid to eat because that always triggers an episode.

Hiccups Log Day 5?: Fk this we going to Mazatlan

OK so what most likely happened was I got an infection from a shit vial of gear. I was taking antibiotcs but ran out. Went to a shit doctor who gave me Dexamethasone and the infection went away very fast. But I am allergic to Dexa and am probably lucky to be alive.

You are probably wondering why I took the Dexa to begin with knowing I had an infection. I was told it was zero risk and we would know with in a few hours if it was correct or not.

and long story short Fuck this stupid fucking city. I do mean stupid in every sense of the word. Oh so much fuck this fucking stupid fucking city.. My wife is packing for Mazatlan as we speak.

As for training and diet: I will have a cool transformation log when I get back :smiley:

Incredibly the hang over was not that bad. I think because I just drank through the hangovers my body got really good at processing alcohol (again).

Mazatlan: Probably not mentally (and definitely not physically) the best way to deal with a mid life crisis but it worked. Maz was a blast. I drank like an idiot and ate like an asshole and Wifey did her best to keep up. We spent 2 days on Olas Altas then went to the Golden Zone for 2 days. Hopefully the video will be edited and up by tomorrow.

Program: Super Complicated. Squat, Bench and Deadlift each 2 workouts a week working up to a heavy single both workouts. Going to rock that and substitute lower intensity workouts as needed. I should be able to handle this for a couple weeks. Then as much assistance as I can handle. I am going to attempt to moce deads to back day. Pullups are done 4 times a week in every workout that isnt back.

Diet: My ass is going to crash diet for 1-4 days to get some of this “water” off then probably go to a more long term cutting solution. Getting back on some Adex should help.

Drugs: Moderate. Test ~1k Tren ~600mg and probably going to kick start with Anadrol later in the week and I will finish with either Anadrol or Halo. All those numbers are probably inflated because I dont know how proper these are dosed.

Time Line: Cut off for everything is Dec 23rd but as soon as I have a PR total locked in I will Mock Meet.

Next Year: After the cutoff I am going to take a break but in May there is a BBing show that I want to prep for and then not compete in.

I could have pushed this a lot harder but 1st leg work out back I took the smarter way out. I transition into the other split now too which means Squats on Thursday so another reason not to push.

Already progressing at pullups, who knew the secret to getting good at something is to do them frequently. I am also probably 3kg lighter than yesterday.

Physique: Woke up with most of the water weight already gone. Still getting pretty bloated with each meal though.

Diet: 5 Eggs, Potatoes, Chicken and Caldo Packets (4g Sodium) Its a multi purpose diet to kick start the diet and also get my digestion and electrolytes back on track.

And then there is that. I have had this Comp in the back of my mind for a while (2+ years). I met the guy running it while I was in Maz. I benched at his gym. It would take a miracle though. 6 Weeks is an incredibly short prep (although that could be about perfect). The bigger issue is that November is my busiest month of the year for work. There are a lot of positives. It’s the week before Thanksgiving so I would my “off” season would be that much longer. I would get to be a SHW. If I had more time I would bulk into this and try to weigh 105+ but I do not so if I go I will just be the lightest SHW in all of PLing history. I doubt there will be that many lifters judging by the weight classes. Also the equipment is well above the standard as it will be an Eleiko bar and a pretty solid power rack.

My grip is pathetic. Let that be a testament to the power of hook grip. Switched between Gorilla and Double Overhand for the Iso holds.

My lock out is also pretty shit which I am convinced is upper back strength (and pulling style) so Snatch grip Rack Pulls and Yates Rows with a wider than normal grip.

I could improve my lockout with a more deliberate set up (think Russel Orhii) rather than the semi dive bomb grip and rip I use now but Deadift set up has always been an issue for me and I finally got something I can replicate.

It’s all the rage right now to tell kids if they are serious about training hop on drugs early. And funny story and ok the real reason people say wait until you are 24+ and training 5+ years to start roids is because if you are that young you are an idiot and if you haven’t trained that long you want cheat codes to a game you don’t know how to play.

I tried to talk JJ out of PEDs as long as possible but finally when the path of least danger was just help him the best I can that is what I am doing. Today he messages me thinking he has gyno. It’s been 5 weeks of test only with an AI (gyno all but impossible). What he has is naturally large nipples, is kind of fat and slightly puffy nipples.

I told him before he starts a cycle he should lean up as much as possible to make the cycle easier to manage and also no drinking. Pretty sure he drank last weekend and he never leaned up so now he thinks he has gyno.

Why didn’t he lean up? I assume because he doesn’t know how to eat or he doesn’t know how to be disciplined (which is probably also why he drank).

Look, if you are super committed and know how to play the game then yeah get on those drugs young (Erik kanefksy that wasn’t you
actually that still isn’t you). But the reality is nobody at that age knows what they want to be so fucking up your Endo system before life starts is dumb.

I remember when I was probably 18 or so my brother in law said his coworker sold steroids. We were going to buy some and join a gym and get huge :joy:. I had absolutely ZERO clue and I’m glad I never gave it a second thought. Knowing what I know now I can’t believe I even considered it.

Tore something in my glute ham tie in area right at ascension on the 2nd rep. You can see my hips kick back. Dont know if that was cause or effect. Not sure how bad it is, I am hoping it is both minor and the influx of drugs speed up the healing process.

On the positive that is an all time PR when just coming back from Vacation and Sickness and Deadlifted Tuesday and some on Wednesday.

On the other hand I was a fkn moron. I pride myself in not doing stupid stuff like this resulting in injury but somewhere before my last warmup I decided that instead of taking my target top single for a single I was going to take it for a triple. I got in my own head about being a pansy and not pushing it hard enough. When the time is right that is fine. Now was not that time. My breakdast liter of water was diet coke FFS so really wasnt even hydrated properly. I am a firm believer that 99% of injuries are avoidable, probably more. This one was no different.

Diet got changed to beef, potatoes and avocado the rest of the day. Kind of bumping up fats and nutrients in general. I will enjoy every bite.

OK if you a coach LET YOUR ATHLETES KNOW THAT SHIT AINT TO DEPTH IN TRAINING!!! and especially on the platform be honest.

OK JOEY FLEXX: Most overrated coach EVER: Lets Rus squat high AF in training then opens with something he has never hit to depth in training (I watch almost all of his training, the most he has hit to depth is maaaaybe around 295-300kg, they opened with 302.5kg). Misses it on depth and JUMPS to a world record attempt that RUSS ALREADY HAS!!! Misses that on depth then gets bailed out by some lenient judging on the 3rd.

Side note on Rus’s depth the last 2-4 weeks his depth has gotten WAY worse in training. He went full IG lifter mode.

Flexx’s other athletes are also doing just fucking terrible. I think flexx has checked out, maybe he is dealing with some life shit, I dont know.

Squat and Bench: If you have a Opener or 2nd attempt RPE11 DONT TAKE ANOTHER ATTEMPT unless you have to keep from bombing out. I would even say RPE 9.5 to be honest. Even then I would consider injury risk, unless you are retiring.

Squat and Bench: If all you are going to jump is 2.5kg then FUCKING OBVIOUSLY you should just pass on that Squat or Bench attempt. There are some exceptions like the really light lifters or if there 2nd was really only RPE8ish but they dont really know how much more they are good for
which brings up another situation of why doesnt the coach and lifter know how much they are good for?

In both of the prior situations all bets are off for Deads because you have nothing else you are saving energy for so YOLO.

This has been covered but if you miss a 2nd on strength for fucks sake don’t take a 3rd
unless you also missed your opener and you are about to bomb out which brings up a whole new bag of shit worms.

Last note on Rus, I bet he learns from this and his next Squat prep will be a BUNCH different.

Strength and form were off today. A bit gassed and Wifey needed more help than usual so I never really turned it on which honestly it probably isnt good to turn up for every workout. I also tried putting Duct Tape on my shoes and go back to my old form and by the time it wasnt really working it was too far in the workout to change anything.

Butt feeling better. Hopefully I can get some light deadlifts tomorrow. I am going to completely retool my deadlift. I did it once I can do it again.

Joker Review: Painful We left 10 minutes early to pick up my hermanita from work but it was hard to watch. Sooo slow, awkward just uck. The last 5 minutes we saw I did like which made it hard to leave but ni modo.

Decided to push my glute a bit to see how it responded. So far so good. There was no visible bruising and it just felt tight so after a pretty long warm up and LOTS of sets with 135 it felt good enough to go on up.

NEW DEAD FORM: Lats, Breath/Brace, Leg Press. I am doing my best Russ Orhii impression for deads (obv not squat depth tee hee). It’s a work in progress as I tend to mess up the order and not have a great rhythm every time BUT it will get better.

BOOOYAAAKACHAAAA!!! Just found out I will be able to watch the Michigan game so fuck yea!!! Wifey heading out too so I am going to find some hella trash food. Probably McDonalds slider and idk cakes?

Speaking of shit diets I am working on fixing mine, no seriously. I am generally cutting down on meal frequencies and size to allow for more complete digestion. I dont think that constantly eating 7 times a day is necessarily great for your digestive system. I am going to fill in the extra calories with dextrose. I am not sure why people force feeding themselves dont do something like this. Usually eating that much “clean food” doesnt get digested anyways. I guess I will find out if this is a terrible idea.

POWA SAUCE (patent pending):The way I am doing this will be to boil Spinach with a Caldo Packet (2000mg of sodium and some flavor) and add the dextrose to that and I will just pour it over my normal now smaller meals as a sauce.

AM Weight: 101.7kg On the off chance I accidentally step on a scale I am just going to put it here. Eating clean (I mean not last weekend but going forward) but not really tracking anything. Just trying to stay fueled with out getting fatter. Having said that this has to be the leanest I have ever been at this weight. Mid section definitely soggy but upper Quads still have some separation. Mobility is on point too.

I have 2 issues with my Bench progress. #1 is that it probably (definitely) isnt ideal to max out twice a week. #2 I think I am going too hard on assistance. I am going to dial back the intensity and I might make it a bit more specific. The issue I will probably have if I make it more specific would be overuse issues.

Anadrol Verdict: Love it Positives: Strength and Pumps. Negatives: Hella Bloat, Acne, loss of appetite, supposedly pretty toxic however Anadrol seems on the lesser side of toxicity for me compared to other stuff. Having said that I am only using it for 2 weeks anyways.

The general consensus is that it cant aromatize because it is a DHT derivative but must interact with some estrogen receptor’s directly. After trying it I agree. This stuff is basically Masteron with bloat and loss of appetite (same issue all orals have). Strength gains are better with Anadrol though
except for bench which reassures me my bench program sucks.
