I am hoping to try today with like 60kg and again tomorrow with maybe my last warmup.

Water cut update dont feel like i lost a lot water (didnt pee a lot and dont feel like shit) so laying under a blanket to sweat a bit for about 30 minutes before a hot shower. Bloat is gone though so that is a good sign at least hormonal wise. Weigh ins in 90 minutes.

Weigh in 95.4kg
Drank gatorade, brain works again, started eating and drinking loading up on taurine and soon i need to get some injections done. And not sure what i was thinking about Israel, dude still needs to weigh in LOL.

MAGIC NUMBERS:
805kg = 500 Wilks*
775kg = 481 Wilks (Mock Meet Wilks)
697.5kg = 432 Wilks (Actual Meet Wilks)

*Actual number is 805.4 but that 805 is 499.8 so i will count the clips. 805kg is a super long shot anyways, i have to hit all of my 3rd highs which yea.

warmup area Giant fkn face palm… I was certain this is what they would do but they put the warm up area in the space that the floor is so slanted if it were a toilet you wouldn’t flush because you just peed off a cliff. I am hoping that is temporary and if not I will say something later. I am going to go in and see what press commands and how everything moves and look to do some mobility work.

A squat just went 2 reds and a white on depth Israel was the white tee hee.

Also he will be opening 275-280 on squats, I forgot to get more info on deads but i will!! He was definitely doing his Meat Head Meet Investigations :slight_smile: asking about my openers on Squat and Dead probably figuring out what he needs… Or maybe not everybody is as devious as me?

they made a solution to the floor mostly they brought racks in to the center of the bow so that will have to work.

squats are moving slooooooowwwww they call the name then the lifter starts wrapping. 13 lifters in 2 flights and 3.5 hours in i think we just got to 3rds for flight B. So just a note for tomorrow. Warmup late, take drogas late.

Israel is in the 110kg class

100kg boiz are on Saturday now so i guess i am competimg with who I am competing with.

LOLz met Masta today as well and also really nice guy and then Israel came over and made a realllllly awkward hello so i got the dirt and Masta made a meme about Israels Squat depth and then apparently there was some shit talking about being judges and reds etc LOL I need to find this Meme and then make sure I stay out of it.

I am still competing today.

Its 1030 we are supposed be starting at 11. Nothing is close. There are 3 flights. We will be here until monday.

LOL Scale games. Luis almost weighed in at 60kg because the electronic scale they use is terrible. Everybody loved the scale though because it was about 3kg light so everybody made weight…except Israel who went out drinking last night (again) to weigh in this morning…oh to be young.

I am going to look for a place to nap.

-Luis Flight 2 and it sounds like 2 women with openers heavier than his.
-Me Flight 3 and it sounds like 2 people with heavier Squat openers!!!

Pikis has a whole crew repping his gym, several other gyms do as well.

We took a squat rack to the flat spot in ths floor the warmups should have been jijijiji it was instantly stolen…dont care they are warming up like an hour too early, i just dont want it to be taken FROM there. Plus they brought over more plates.

Annnnnnd i just saw somebody miss a warmup and a couple others look like they are having an amrap comp. I am an ok coach…1st attempts group 1 probably start in an hour.

Some hyuuuuge dudes weighed in so it will be interesting to see numbers tomorrow. I want to see Squats and last of deads. It should be a lot faster tomorrow.

I got some info on Israel’s deads he hopes to dead 315. His 3rd squat is top secret… I just asked he laughed with a wink… Cheeky monkey… His 2nd squat his top secret I asked after he denied 3rd squat info… Laugh, wink, ā€œtop secretā€ā€¦ Ah ok uh huh then LOL I would guess going by Squat opener and dead opener to 3rd he wants a 305-310 squat. So my guess his if he balls the fk out he is looking at 310-170-315 for 785. We will be very close.

Ok 1st flight looks to start soon (this took about an hour to write and get info.)

I even warmed so slow and so late… Just not enough.

I have time to write this because these heats take forever.

Seriously they should ban wraps. Its call name, start wrapping 4 minutes later start to move towards rack.

Yea so blacked out a little on my last warmup 90 minutes after the prior warmup. 262.5 was a ton better about 30 minutes after that warmup. fast forward 45 fkn minutes to my 2nd where it would have been locked out but i blacked out.

never going to another of these shit show meets again. i get it they are new but come the fk on.

And now I have a bunch of people teaching how to squat with out blacking out? Like yea learn how to wrap when they tell you that you are 4 out?

And now my wife is telling me how bad the spotters are and how she hates them and how her and Daniela are spotting us next LOL.

ok another guy just told me that when i blacked out the spotter ran LMAO i aint even mad, thats just funny

Yea pretty fkn annoyed still. 280kg was easily the lowest RPE 280kg i hit this prep (3 others) until i blacked out obv.

Ok redid math, 2 hours and 10 minutes for 4 squat sets.

I am sure the drugs didn’t help but if they would have been the main culprit I would have had issues with earlier warmup sets (315 or 405 is always the issue) and 262.5 would have been worse than 245kg.

Blackouts probably wouldnt have been an issue if it didnt take them 6+ fkn hours to get through squats. Supposed to start at 11am well st 1230pm they are still standing around thumb in fkn asses. I time everything from food to drugs around starting sometime before 430pm which was my opener. I have noticed i have these issues later in day never early a

And I can’t see the spotter running but they sure as fuck weren’t adequate at all. I am actually really lucky the straps were on.

And it looks like a spotter hit the bar early that didnt help jeezuz fuck.

That sounds like a complete shitshow. I’d have pulled out before even hitting a warmup TBH. Glad you’re in one piece.

Lol Masta is hurrying the comp people and it is working because bench atrempts are down to about 2 minutes per.

He has a bus leaving at 9pm to a strongman comp and this is the only bus.

Dont feel bad for the comp people, normally I would too but nah. None of us want to be here until Monday.

The issue with this sort of crap is that it can turn people off powerlifting if it’s their first meet.

I could see this for sure. I’m very fortunate my first meet was run so flawlessly.

There definitely is videos, and several lifters left before they benched.

And yea to a mock meet sometime soon. I am not going to throw away this entire training block on this. Well i guess we see how i feel in a few days.

BENCH… I went all LS Mclain… And compeltely zoned out focus wise, just sat and talked and joked for the 40+ minutes between attempts.

Luis clipped rack on first attempt and it was reds for that. I had never seen him move any bench that fast (traditionally a slower lifter) so we went with his planned 2nd. Really not that risky because his opener is like 85% of what we think he is good for.

Well then he clipped the safety pins on the way down and missed for that. Retook that and it was a fkn smoke show. We need real equipment.

Warmups were annoying AF becauae the warmup benches were far worse than anything i am willing to bench from. Then 180 moved better than it ever has and 192.5 the same but my pause was sloppy so i made sure to clean that up for 3rd, fast AF off chest then just hit a wall.

**Hour 12 of being here, first flight starts??? Any hour now i am sure. **

Lowering dead opener to 250-260 depending on how warmups go. Headache, cramps, i will have been here for 14+ hours by the time i get to my opener. I actually want to lower it further and say fk this but ugh fuck.
