215 was such a grind he either could do another rep or he couldn’t.

Despite finishing 5 of 9 Luis had a decent meet. Aside from not getting any of his lift PRs he hit all of his goals except a 550kg total. Most impressively I think he might be close to the podium as he was near the back for most of his lifts. How you place today i think says a lot more about how you did than a total seeing how nobody is hitting a total PR but we are all dealong with the same BS.

Plus Luis is true natty, rest of us fake fake natty.

Lowered dead opener to 255, just hoping i dont drop anything today.

Considering how i started this was still a pretty shitty meet LOL

Luis misloaded my last dead warmup by leaving an extra 25 on one side of 495 so that tweaked an erector and reminded me of my mixed days LOL i didnt lock it out but it was close.

Shitty meet aside, ok like everything i did from recarb to drugs was to not have my opener at 430pm. I hold water and i black out on squats, drugs or not. I know i will be holding water by then, drugs or not unless i am super lean. Taking a rep every 45 minutes didnt help either. Having said that no more wet drugs and keep short cycles (8-10weeks) and short preps (4-10 weeks depending on offseason).

And having said all that ok, the squat: depth come up fast start to black out and bar stops, i realize i am starting to black out and fight through, spotter slams the bar knocking me off balance while 4 other spotters try to hoist it up and i black out again after 2 or 3 more seconds of them not getting the bar up. I stuck with it and got fkn stapled. Every person who said anything thought i had it if side spotter doesnt slam the bar. True or not whatever, this shit was dangerous, i shouldn’t have blacked out.

Taper went well, shit was fast and felt light. Still need much more single work in prep though.

Oh yea, no more meets that i dont run myself. Not putting up with this BS. Like everything they could do to make this last forever they did. Comp that supposed to start at 11am at 1230pm they start fitting people for the mono…and they fitted the bench before bench flights rather than at weigh in like you are supposed to. I took my first squat at 430 and my last dead at 12am…that actually isnt that bad. 7.5 hours but we leave out 2.3333 flights of squats.

Cash prizes by wilks (by class if field allow), IPF raw equipment and rules slightly laxer esp for Bench…2 hour weigh in prepay only miss weigh in time you forfeit your regisgration fee and cant compete. Camera review on any lift.

100+% roi for registration fees and spotters, loaders and judges are paid as well. I am not sure the money pool split between comp workers and lifters but i think 50-50 is fair (sponsors +registration fees). I think most money will probably come from sponsors.

ammonia is not for me think it hindered more than helped like slap ins, I’m do better with internal monologue. And LOL i blow my nose and smell ammonia - _-

Looking forward to sight seeing a bit and I will check in on the meet later, maybe if only 2 people competed i will podium…i really want to see how luis did. Fkn natty boiz lol

Easy way to one size fits all programming
Also great for “off” season strength fluctuation programming
It really is just another % based program. It just uses a way to the % adjusted to what your % is that day.
As such working up to a heavy single to base your backdown off of defeats the purpose*. If you wanted to do a heavy single to gauge strength for the day then % is fine.

*That doesn’t include the million other legitimate reasons for doing a heavy single frequently in training.

Taking a Parral bus tour and went by gym, they still squatting ay 4pm so today wouldnt have gone much better despite there being only 2 flights.

Okay actually heats may be going really late for only 2 with 20 total liftera but it would have been way better today. 1 flight has 9 the other maybe 10. Mine started with 19ish and went down to 14ish with drop outs.

A Junior (Aldo Luis) went 305-180 and has a 305 dead opener weighing 111kg RAW. Talked to one of his crew and he should get a 320kg dead so he should get a 805 total.

He is deadlifting in running shoes and his last warmup was 585 for 3…who TF are these coaches.

I just got a look at Aldo, probably like 6’ 1" and jacked and 23 years old. Fucking goal posts moved AF, permanently and out of reach. Definitely fan boying out a bit.

Israel went x277.5-277.5-x287.5 on squats and had a 160 bench (3 for 3).

He is opening 280 dead and needs 295 to beat me. I just told him he is about to start his dead warmups.

I haven’t seen another in the 100kg class so maybe we did compete on Saturday? Looking through today it looks like of all totals i will end up 3rd to 5th behind Aldo and Israel for sure.

Israel smoked his opener and goes 295 for 2nd. He will probably be good for 305-310 3rd.

Aldo grinded 300kg opener. It looks to me he has 1 rep left and will be good for 310-315 but it could just be he took a 35kg jump from last warmup to opener… Or exhausted himself doing reps with 405-495-585 for warmups.

Ok coach rant opening at 93.75% of dead 3rd WTF! OPEN LIGHT AF YOU CAN MAKE JUMPS!!! AND RAPS!

Between form and picking warmups reps/sets i could instantly add 5-10% to these most of the deads in this comp. Not being arrogant it’s what gets most people to believe in me as a coach is that insta 1RM bump that comes from better form and not AMRAPing every set to a 1RM test LOL.

I have never seen so much knee cave and snatch grip deads before.

Mad respect for israel, just took 302.5 for 3rd, 295 was little slow. i thought he has 305 but would pick higher. Video review then took the lower number, i need to learn that.

Aldo just grinded 310 2nd. 320 3rd. I think it will be close.

And damn this day is moving so much faster, big fuck up by me.

Edit Aldo passes on 3rd just too tired. I would have gotten him that 3rd.

Ooookay, winning takes some sting out of a terrible meet.

Me 1st in total, squat, dead for 100kg and had highest bench in meet any class. There were more than three 100kg so not a participation award.

Luis in sleeves as the only lifter who would pass a drug test in Parral this weekend took 2nd with the highest deadlift. Really proud of him and quite frankly that helps this weekend more than anything. 2nd place, National Competition, raw true natty.

Nobody on Saturday was going to have a good meet total and we all dealt with the same BS.

CUT: Doing a short Hard Cut for 10-14 Days. Winstrol ~60mg and Tren Ace 70mg / Mast P 30mg blend at ~1mL pre day. I just want to see what happens when I run tren with no test but minds well add Winstrol LOL then it will be blood tests TRT for a while. I MIGHT POST PONE THIS to get healthy and maybe have a beer here or there with wifey…even though I didnt miss booze at all.

LOW BAR I am making the most committed attempt to Squat low bar ever. It didnt feel bad but it isnt pretty either. We will see where we are in a few weeks and how this affects my lower back.

Front Squats Went well after loosening up the rack with cleans. Still not the best rack but it gets the job done…thats what she said.

Program Intensities will be much higher this offseason with BBer deloads for 1 to 7 days as needed physically and mentally. Also attempting to learn RPE…and stay with in the lines.

BENCH- I will be attempting a 3x Bench and easing into that with only dumbell work for a week or 2 (during the cut). If that goes well I go to Benching 3x per week. 2 of those Comp and the 3rd a variation. Eventually hopefully all 3 are Comp. Workload and assistance are bare bones to begin. My bench has made ok progress but I think it will do better.

SQUAT- 3x Per week but structured differently to accommodate Bench. Also LOW BAR to hopefully improve leverages and keep help my upper back from rounding.

DEADLIFT- I will start 3x per week frequency all are variations and double overhand to both build grip strength and limit weight used to get used to Frequency. If I can I will do 2 double overhand variations per week and a 3rd is Comp Deadlift (Hook Conventional).

PERIODIZATION- Right now none really just get some work in and get better at the movements but when the comp lifts come back I have a cool program designed that will be shared soon.

NEED A MEME Probably not my last time bragging about this but I am so proud and tickled pink that Luis did so well. 1st and 3rd in his weight class competed in wraps and were sponsored by the same steroid company as Mastah (who made the Meme about Israel) so I really want to Meme this somehow but they didnt wear their shirts on the Podium.

ATHLETES make the Coach. Most people lack the enjoyment of the process. Those that have that will excel because they love it. So as a coach the key is to select those people before other coaches get to them :smiley:

Pretty pumpy high reps and I didnt push myself outside the lines.

No Test Cut Arms are drying out but the rest of me is still pretty flat and soft looking. I expect by the weekend I will have an idea how this works. As of now I think this is a drying technique more than a fat burner. Energy seems down but that could just be the diet as it is clean so not nearly enough calories…

SPORTS SEASON IS UPON US!!! I am going to enjoy the shit out the bread and circus this year…or shall I say beer and circus? I got work lined up and figured out so thats 1 head ache done, about 2 huge ones to go (passport and house), then the normal fun ones of programs etc.

I feel that Squat took 30kg off my total and the way the comp was ran took another 30.

I am uploading the YT video again, I kept rerecording the voice over because I was trying to make it as short and unwhiney as possible but in the end sometimes you just have to vent.

Bloated AF Yea its so bad i think i have another culprit for the distended stomach’s on bber stages. I mean if a bber doesnt know how dropping test affects them and does it. I have been taking AI and Prami so i should have 0 bloat but here we are. Going to take some prop and see
if that helps. But then again its been about 1 week and another week is a long time for test and estro to clear the system…yea dont care.

Cut is over I learned what i needed to learn or at least i will by tomorrow. I will wait to get bloods until there is a chance they dont suck, the point is to make sure i am healthy not to freak out my wife.

Low Bar Lifetime PR so HURAAYY LOL. Any 1 of those 12 reps was. Low Bar just feels so unstable, it has to get better right? Part of the problem I am sure is just not committing to one hand placement etc but the most secure feeling placement feels like its ripping my hand bones apart.

Yea, battling a head cold and shoulders are kind of sore but not in a beat up way so that’s nice. I am hoping they get better next week when i drop the cleans (only reason i am doing cleans is to force my mobility for front rack).

Bloat down a noticeable bit after prop injection and gym pump much better. I actually think i might do low test cut and then blast prop the last 3-4 days for photo day…if i am flat and bloated.

LOL Masta Vented his annoyance with the WPC nationals and how it was ran and was right every step and 1 of the organizers said that everybody was happy. LMAO fkn delusional. Mastah said something else that I also think is true and that there needs to be a Federation for the Lifters, not for the Federation. That is my biggest gripe with IPF and most BBing federations. They treat the lifters like cash cows.

GWF and how I plan to attack this: All Registration fees will go directly to the prize pool, yup cash prizes and 100% ROI. Sponsor money goes to medals, Spotters, Judges and Loaders. All will be paid the same and will rotate between flights. Judging will be done by camera review (mostly only matters for Squats). This may take longer to get whites/reds but I really dont see how that will have that great of an impact on speed or enjoyment of the meet. Wilks will probably have to decide placings until the Fed grows. 1 in 3 will make the pay out (not top heavy, more people take home money the better.)

One last thing about Programing:
I am going to keep most of my Squat and Deadlift work between 495 and 605 which keeps the weight in that sweet spot of 80%-90% of 1RM. Probably Doubles and Singles maybe some AMRAPs.

Obv that math doesnt line up. 80% of current numbers (615ish) and 90% of where I want to be (666ish) and based off Squats. Since Dead is stronger the Dead numbers are on the low side which I think is better for life.

OOOOKay it might be Beer 30 and some pretzels…

EDIT: yea I got to get a Low bar over 4 plates before any of that matters anyways LOL.
