Is there any difference between frozen and fresh veggies nutritionally?
Nope, and the frozen ones are great for ready to drink smoothies.
Fresh is usually your best option, however sometimes the frozen can be higher in nutrients depending on when they were frozen compared to the fresh sitting out.
That’s not to say frozen is always better though

Exactly true. I’ve seen studies where the frozen actually had more nutrients because they weren’t sitting out and were flash frozen after picking.

In my neck of the woods the local grocery chain (Stop and Shop) makes an organic line of frozen veggies that are in my opinion the Cadillac of frozen vegetables. Spinach, broccoli and asparagus are main stays in my freezer. So are the pepper/onion mixes and Green Giant healthy mixes (veggies with olive oil and seasoning in steam-pac). All of these are lifesavers for single working people. The only fresh veggies I eat are salad mixes, tomatoes and celery. Fruit on the other hand can’t be beaten fresh IMO.
I always hated veggies so now I just take Superfood.
