Tip:
For me there is a huge difference between cross arm grip and clean grip. With a cross arm grip I can’t get the bar to really sit behind my delt. With my arms rotated into a clean position it creates a little dip behind my delts and in front of my neck that just isn’t there otherwise.
I’m really working hard on my front squat and am up to about 1.5xBW. ultimate goal is 2xBW.
As an aside:
What happened to these forums? Everything seems so civil and productive.

i think thats about right with me 85%
i front squatted 405 for 5 last night after leg curls and my back squat is in the 550s range around that fresh
and i weight around 230lbs at 6’0.
its takes practice and everything to get used to it, it never got really comfortable (relatively) until my shoulders grew larger and the bar could stay behind them.
if it helps I use CT’s method of using straps to hold it up[/quote]
You are 19 with a mid 500 squat and 405 front squat for reps with only a year of training?
You’ve got crazy potential! Any trading vids or log?

I saw the “1+ years training” in your profile info and was mistaken.
