Congratulations to the Hoosiers. I lived in Indiana for awhile when I was a pup. Good to see that Indiana has won the National Championship. The best thing to happen in Indiana since Breaking Away and John Mellencamp.

Edit: I forgot Larry Bird and Bobby Knight.

Interesting reading about the REHIT routine. It makes sense. Glad you are enjoying it. :+1: I think that anyone can use some HIIT as part of their routine in some way or another. After all, life occasionally gets intense. :grimacing: :joy: Was glad to see Indiana win last night.

This started about 15 years ago. It does not happen all of the time, but it can be debilitating when it is dialed in. Cold weather, and wind, really kick it in. Monday’s workout made me a bit uncomfortable last night, but Friday was the worst it has been in sometime.

Pre-Workout: Amazon Columbian Medium Roast

Start: 5:10 AM. End: 5:50 AM

Total Time: 40 minutes

Total Reps: 178

Upped sets in a couple of exercises. So some exercises had four sets not three.

I felt strong. Ended up with a good upper body pump. Particularly chest and triceps. Though I have griped about post workout aches and pains, I have actually had good sessions.

I am mulling over getting a ā€œrealā€ Pre-Workout. I am not a real fan of coffee. When it wears off during the school day my duff gets kicked.

My calorie intake is still too much. I have added protein shakes, more as meal replacements.

We got dusted with snow yesterday. Dust might be hyperbole. No snow, ski hills are closed, a very dry year.

See you Friday!

If I just drink a cup or two of black coffee from the house in the morning I usually have no crash in the afternoon. If I get Dunkin or Starbucks though I will crash and burn… :fire: Also, eating just a salad with grilled chicken for lunch helps prevent the afternoon crash. A bigger meal and I’m toast… :bread: Good looking session today! :flexed_biceps:

Thanks, it is an AI explanation. I am glad it got the point across.

A bit less robust than last week.

Ab Stimulator: Mode II. Level 12. 20 minutes

Dips: Bodyweight 10/5/3

Haney Shrugs: 3x12

Up Right Row: 3x10

Dead Lift: 3x10

Atlas Dips: 1x13

Thirty-one minutes…

Total Reps: 127

A decent full body pump. An OK workout, but I have done better. A few days off now. I pick my Mini up finally. $5000 worth of damage.

See you Monday!

Nice workout. Great to hear you are getting your car back!

I am putting it in the garage and keeping it there.

Ouch! That has to sting coming off the holidays.

The other person’s insurance covered it. But still.

Finally have my car back.

Nothing worse than not having your car. I got mine back after 9 weeks. It became such a huge source of frustration.

Pre-Workout: coffee

Start Time: 4:36 AM. End Time: 5:20 AM

Total Reps: 239

I am increasing reps and sets which for me equals less resistance. But, as of right now, I feel quite worked. But, more sets and reps meant I feel swole. I will see everyone on Wednesday!

It’s good to change it up from time to time. Nice workout! :flexed_biceps:

Start: 6:33 PM End: 7:20 PM

Pre Workout: Amazon coffee

Not a bad session. I felt like a cold was coming on when I woke. But that came and went. My legs felt heavy starting last night so I backed off on the squats. But I did 4-5 sets on the upper body exercises.

So I felt swole. I had a protein drink after my session. I am drinking more protein shakes. I just buy the Body Fortress. My wife likes the Old School Labs. It is expensive though.

My six month neurosurgeon visit was today. Apparently I have not had x-rays or an MRI in sometime, so that is happening in July. I am still status quo. I think they are not sure what to do with me. They might have thought I was going to deteriorate quite a bit since I started with my current doctor. But I keep stretching elastomers on that Soloflex, and am still up right.

In fact, I told him I felt good enough to start competing in the local power lifting competition next year, or maybe one in the Fall. He looked like he was going to defecate. I was given a stern no. If I am going to resistance train he said, stick with the Soloflex or Total Gym. When the town I live in opens its community center and pool, he told me to swim. I do like swimming.

Well that is my six month up date. It could be a lot worse.

See you Friday!
