I have been eating like
lately. Lately being the last five or six years. I guess I will start writing down my food intake here, though no calorie counting.
Many years ago, 2010 to be exact, (I am sure I have mentioned beforeā¦), I wrote on Dave Draperās forum that I was struggling with weight. I couldnāt find a fit for an eating approach. A fellow typed back and suggested I try the No S Diet. Which means: No Snacks, No Sweets, No Seconds, except for days that start with S. Three plates of food a day. One for each meal.
Really basic and hard to over think. The Adult ADHD part of me loves it because it isnāt t tedious, nor do I need to think much. I just eat three squares a day.
In 2010 I dropped 28 pounds between the beginning of March to the end of May. I touched 172 lbs. Down from 200 lbs. My wife told me I looked ill I had lost so much weight. I looked tan and fit on Seven Mile Beach. To be up front, I pedaled a lot of Airdyne as well.
So I figured this morning, āWhy not?ā. I keep a pretty good account of myself with the workouts, why not see if posting my daily food intake/strategy will also make me more cognizant of what I stuff in my pie hole.
Breakfast: two packets of instant oatmeal, two cups of coffee, 6 oz. of tomato juice, an apple
Lunch: one bowl of Kimchi flavored noodles, A small cucumber w/parmesan ranch to dip the cucumber in.
Dinner: half a rib eye, A large salad w/ bleu cheese dressing and and egg (diced), Rice a Roni herb and butter. Plus a glass of Coke with ice. I will tweak here and there as I go.
Home scale today: 201 lbs.
