I met in the middle. I type my workouts in on the Notes in my phone. Then transcribed them to a Word document on my laptop and copy and paste it into here. Doubt there’s a more complicated and time consuming way to log a workout. ![]()

My new workout journal is a bit different. But it gets the job done. A more relaxed attempt this morning. I have been dry heaving, nausea, aches and pains. An easy day.
Hopefully this evening I feel better than I did Monday post workout.

With a break in rain, I got my lawn mowed, mostly. I was cutting some old pasture in the back and ran a branch up through the cutting deck. I may need to rebuild that.
Then I pulled out my trusty electric chainsaw to cut up two aspen that we had tip into the house. A professional got everything to ground level.. Just as I was starting to get ready I looked at my wife and said, “I hope a man dressed up like he was the Brawny lumberjack model does not show up with a real chain saw.”. Well, a neighbor pulls into the driveway, in flannel and jeans, with a real chainsaw. He did me a big favor and turned those two trees to woodstove length logs. I am grateful. I swear he winked at my wife when he drove off.
Plenty of yardio this weekend.
That’s a great story. You’re very fortunate to have neighbors like that. Yesterday, I was out in the woods clearing brush and wished that gentleman would have pulled into my driveway. Either the Brawny chainsaw guy or better yet, the Caterpillar excavator model.

Pre Workout: Tim Horton Columbian dark coffee. 10 oz
Airdyne: 20 minutes+Ab stimulator 20 minutes.
Then:
It was a bit different pedaling the Airdyne with the ab stimulator pre workout. First I thought maybe it would affect the resistance training. And no. I kept the Airdyne at a level II or there about.
I will say, hopping on the Airdyne, then going straight to the incline press was the catalyst for a very nice chest pump. Thighs also during squats.
I am not sure what the research determines; now I need to decide between pre workout pedaling, or post pedaling.
In mid July, at 5:00 in the afternoon, in the foothills of the Sacramento Valley, my niece has chosen to marry. I do not want to be one of the fat fudges who is sweating to death. I will sweat, but I do not want to look like a roasted pig with an apple in his mouth.
I hear linen is cooling? I am not sure about wardrobe. The theme is Bridgerton. I will not be dressing up. Cotton and linen. No Mr. Darcy.

I am already out of hearts today. I am not sure how that happened. So, for those who stop in, I appreciate that. Also, know that I find reading through your workouts, your diet approaches, your daily schedules, is often motivating and keeps me on track regarding my own workouts, makes me realize highs and lows of life are not just mine, and I appreciate being able to be here.
And a caveat, if I leave a post that looks like I was half asleep when I typed it, I probably was.

I skipped deadlift today. My lower back feels awkward. As well as, the Airdyne needs to be used either on non-resistance days, or after the workout itself. I have learned a lesson.
Last day of school for the year today. Except for summer school. That is a good gig.

Total Reps: 155 (I think, I added in my melon…)
Airdyne: 20 minutes
The pharmacy has my back meds on back order. Imagine my surprise when I looked in the bottle and only had eight. I am not sure what the story is, but apparently there is a shortage. I have been feeling at tad fluish. I got the job done!
I increased resistance on a few exercises. Hence lower reps. I worked hard. The Airdyne post resistance training was a good choice. We will see how long that lasts.
I have a week off before summer school. Yardio is on the docket. It should be a kick in the pants with this “fluish” feeling. And the belt and blades needed changing on the mower. Blades come Wednesday? My lawn looks like the prehistoric savanna of North Africa.
