Blaze - I cheated. It’s not a gym that usually allows it, but and I’m very discreet. I carry it in a ziplock baggy and I don’t spread it all over the place. They appreciate that I don’t make a show of it. My chalk is freakin necessary with my girl grip.

Masch - I check your log to find out? I’m trying to add some muscles to my calves too but it’s pretty far down my list of priorities.

Brute - I haven’t pulled conventional in ages. I might have to give it a try sometime…And yup, it was just the batteries. Frustrating but not devastating.

Nadia - I have limited space to set up the camera in my gym so it was a good thing born of necessity

Way to beast through those deads, Mainy, try bringing your grip a little closer together. When I pull sumo, at lockout my hands are directly in front of where my leg goes into my hips, about 10-12" apart. And when you lock it out (LWI), smash your hips forward as hard as you can. Once the bar comes over your knees, it should FLY up to lockout!

Just another option to try out.

Was not planning on hitting the gym tonight after yesterday’s heavy deads but work should get pretty hectic this week so I figured I’d use the time I had. With today’s busy schedual, I didn’t eat enough. And a visit from aunt flo… not a stellar day but what the hell. I pushed around some heavy shit, I’m happy about that.

Bench:

130x2 - was suppose to aim for 5 reps but the jump was too big decided to regroup and try again.

130x4 - tried for the 5th but had to dump the bar. I would have had it more rested. next time.

Front Squat:

155 - fail. felt very confident about it too. I’ll try to add less weight next time.

many failures but smiling through it and having fun so don’t care. Also I wore a cap to help with my focus. That thing is def staying in my gym bag.
