Great depth on that last set Frenchie, well done.
Je t’envie, I pull 235 for 1, your workout is inspiration for me!
Nice Squats! First time posting in here, so sorry if it’s been asked, but what are the wrist wraps for? Do you squat low-bar with part of the weight resting on your hands?

Not sure about Frenchie’s opinion, but many people who grip the bar with their arms close in use the wraps to ease the pressure on their wrists
i looooooooooooove baklava…
that t-shirt is awesome! nice fit and very cool design.
congrats on the squats, looks like your hard work is paying off.
Nikki - thanks girrrrl - had to push press the dumbbells - I was to tired to snatch them.
DF - the importance of instant replay. I’m still learning the “feel” of the squat and watching my vids on the spot tell me the truth.
Sol - first of all what’s a french speaking person doing in NC? and when repping anything above 225 I usually give myself a few seconds to reset myself in good posture. I’m sure if you dropped the weight after your first rep, took a big breath, tightened your shoulders together and grabbed that bar it would come up a 2nd time. I have a vid in here of a 230 x 3 that shows my resets.
Blaze - a new face, welcome. Actually it’s kinda funny cause it’s the first time I use wrist wraps outside of competition for my squat. DF is right, my wrists get sore fast when squating heavy - and yes this is heavy for me blegh. The last thing I want is for my wrists to get sore before my legs. Good news is no wrist soreness.
alexus - i love baklava too, but something about that hint of rosewater keeps me from eating the whole tray. perhaps not a bad thing in itself. lol.
Alright Frenchie. You are the current waiters’ walk champ… for now. Nice job.
Squats and heavy glute bridges. Killer. You certainly aren’t kidding about the desired bubble butt.
That dinner is mostly stuff that I would eat. Sounds delicious.

I already have bubble butt - I don’t need more of it. I’m doing these to help with hip strength and power in hopes it will translate to my squats. this and the cable pull throughs. If it firms the bubble in time then that is an additional bonus.
depth looked fine to me girlfriend.
It’s how you are choosing to get out of the hole…I see you falling forward a bit and if you look back your heels are coming up slightly…Or maybe I’m just seeing things…
Are you using hip drive or leading with the chest? And are you looking the mirror? tsk tsk ![]()
Those were some heavy barbell glute bridges. I know from experience that the hold on top is the killer.
All of your hard work is really paying off. Look at that deadlift PR! Awesome!
also vid of these waiters walks plz and how the hell you get the dbs up…

They can just use the other hand to help it get up, right?
I mean, the highest I gone was 45-50? But I just use the other hand to help get that sucker up.
Keeping it up is the problem ![]()
ok, I want in on this challenge…
J’etudie franÃ?§ais depuis cinq ans? J’adore la langue mais il n’y a personne ici avec qui je peux parler, donc ma grammaire est terrible!
And thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely try that out next time I’m doing heavy pulling.
Edit: Forums freak when you try to use some accent marks apparently!
I just did 55 in my backyard for 100 feet…um, turning is hard.
But pretty good for my first time, no?
Like Dixie said, depth looks good. What I noticed and liked, was you shooting your eblows back under the bar when it got heavy, instead of letting them fly back and you fold over.
Good shit N, the wall squats are helping!

I know what that says! I’m so proud of myself.
No wonder you got carded you pretty young thing. Nice shirt, nice squats. I’m feeling your fire.
Hey congrats on the PR.
Depth was fine.
