Frenchie's Fromage

Great effort. Got your arse out there, good depth. even the trainer having his girl doing incline pushups was watching you strut your stuff, paying no attention to what he was doing! love it!

Nice push on that 185 - looked very strong to me!

elbows down and drive your head back into the bar.

its hard to “feel” how forward your elbows need to be. I’m lucky enough to have someone move them for me before i unrack, and a couple people to yell at me while i’m lifting. otherwise, i’d have no clue.

also, yes, it feels like FOREVER when you get “stuck” like that… at least you never really stopped moving, just got slower. and FUCK YEAH for not giving up!!

exploding out of the hole- hip thrusters and pull throughs.

yes. wear shorts next time. kthx.

Awesome squatting N.
You pushed through with that squat which is very admirable, and it’s obvious that you’re working hard. If everything looks smooth and easy with that much weight on your back, then you need to add more.
You got through that 185 VERY NICELY (those stalls always seem like an eternity in our head, then you see the video and you’re like ‘wait, where did I stall again?’) and it’s just going to get easier from there.

Keep kicking ass mama

MIM - my mp3 player was on maximum and the shrill voice still filtered through.

Joe - elbows forward, got it.

Masch - The class was filled with overweight people jumping on steps. I’ll take my heavy barbell, thankyou.

print - that is exactly what I look like, a big chicken shakin feathers. Honestly it helps me make the mind body connection - go figure.

coyote - my mantra is PUSH! and a grunt of course.

Nadia - seems like this squat learning has gone on forever, but at least I see the improvement and it gives me renewed hope.

Ink - I’ll be checking your log for a failed squat now  seriously your right, I never use the safeties. Gotta stop my head from taking the lead.

Tim- had to go back and watch the vid. Never noticed the trainer staring- that is funny stuff.

LS - thank you

Bear - for you I’ll wear my tightest, tinest ones. They should look awesome with my Seuss chucks. Hip thrusters and pull throughs. gotcha.

Nikki- yes Mam!

Powerlifting gym tonight.

Stretches: calves, hamstrings, hips, shoulder disclocates, birddogs, kettlebell swings and more…

Bench
66lbs 1x12
88lbs 1x12
114lbs 1x8
134lbs 1x2

Then singles to practice commands
134lbs 5x1
136lbs 1x1

I’m really not used to using commands so the game plan will be to practice with the commands in my head for the upcoming weeks.

Renegade rows
15lbs 2x20

blast strap pushups
2x15

prisoner pullups on rings (feet on crate)
3x10

superset with

Y dumbell bench
8lbs 3x12

Sled drag 245lbs x 4 lengths
270lbs x 2 lengths

Benching felt heavy tonight. I’m blaming yesterday’s squats, and learning to handle the pause.

benching felt heavy bc youre workin your ass off.

awesome benching and sled drags. Damn… pullups too?

Great job on squats, looking strong.

Strong benching woman! And love the pushups. Girl after my own heart

Outstanding Frenchie, learning the commands take a bit of time but things look like they are shaping up nicely.

It’s there. It’s ok to miss a squat. It is. Push yourself to that point, and you’ll break through the mental wall that’s holding you back from squatting over 9000

Hey girlie! Just saw your new avi in Inks log! LOVE IT!! Showing off your snatch eh?

9000lbs in 2012! HAH!

I approve.

Stopping in to say I love your new avatar.

Oui moi aussi!

yeah, you kicked that scary stall’s ass! great job pushing through

Went to my bro’s place for supper - he made a wonderful salmon wellington as a starter and raclette. My job was to bring a little wine and cheese. Easy, and well worth it.

my cookie-face is growing up - look at all dem teeth!

Good wine, good food, good company. It’s what I live for.

I always follow your log but usually don’t have anything to add (well, not intelligent anyway).

Squats looked solid and you are pushing hard…awesome.

Only suggestion I have is birthday suit squats <<— See, that’s why I don’t say anything.
