Frenchie's Fromage

Thanks Cal & L.S

Oro- the meet Diana suggested is in Feb. I also have a trade show Feb. 12&13 which is mandatory. Hopefully the two won’t coincide. I’ll have more details tonight when I check out the new gym.

Joe - that’s a presidential car, or mafia. which side are you hanging with and should I be careful what I say now? lol.

Let’s just say you can put 3-4 bodies in the boot.

I’m late but I’m in.

Please to know that mailbox is mine. Is for sending photos thanks.

Hai Hallowed. To get pics you must send pics.

Well I had planned to hit the new gym today but I’ve been waiting on the stupid UPS guy since 10AM! What a freakin waste of time. So as a proper frenchie I decided to use my jail time to cook a fab roast. And he will smell it when he walks in. And I won’t offer him any.

So there.

Ha HA!

Mr. UPS came in just as my roast was done. It was on the counter for the much needed 15 minutes of rest, the juices running, the smells… He looked like he was waiting for an invite. too bad.

just finished supper: it was delicious!

I love a good roast! sounds great - I’d beg for an invite if I wasn’t 2000 miles away

I’m pulling up a chair with DaVinci Peppermint patty in my coffee…waiting for the Main hit all her goals!

soldog - you so would not need to beg  There are leftovers I would have gladly shared with an e-friend.

Hope you have steady source of coffee LP. This could take a while

LP, like the new avi!

N, it’s a Mr. Coffee Coco-Motion…Not sure if you could melt chocolate in it but I have added Bailey’s or Amaretto, or Kahlua.

I loved the balloon shot. Very nicely done. I hope that UPS guy had your black background. Covetous, I am of that.

plz tell me you answered your door scantily clad. so he knew he couldnt have the roast or the rump.

Greenies: try some Grand Marnier (orange flavored cognac) for a little Terry’s Chocolate or my holiday fav a dash of creme de menthe. But don’t put too much it can be overpowering. i usually calculate a tablespoon per mug.

Kimba: UPS yesterday was for work -p/u 6 boxes that needed to be sent back to the warehouse. They took up a lot of space in my little place. Black background is supposed to finally be delivered this friday. About time. I bought it a month ago! And those suckers aren’t cheap.

Bear - didn’t think of that at all. Husband was expected home a few mintes after UPS guy. It might have been a good idea except there was a hockey game on. Which means those tricks are always a gamble… Another reason to hate winter really.

the weather has been especially depressing lately. Always dark and rainy, the city lights stay on all day. blah.

^Don’t let it get you down kid, you radiate sunshine.

^ couldn’t have said it better myself!

Good work on the making the delivery guy salivate, you’re a girl after my own heart

Ahh, UPS men.

Stopped by quickly at the new gym today. Casey, the owner, PL competitor and trainer is a wee thing! But I decided to not let my prejudice stop me. We have some pretty awesome tiny strongwomen around here. I have a meeting tomorrow at 6pm. i’ll let you know how it goes.

Tonight I deadlift at my regular place.

Got to the gym all fired up but turned out not too stellar. I didn’t eat enough as I was running around for work and the weather wasn’t helping.

deads
155 1x5 - no belt
185 1x5 - with belt at this point
205 1x3
225 1x2
245 1x1
275 - no freakin go. lifted the sucker an inch or two but simply struggled and grunted for a while before releasing.
245 - no go. previous lift played with my head
225 1x1 - felt heavy…

I was yawning through this and disappointed since my PR is 280 and I haven’t been able to repeat anything close! last time was 165…wtf!? Decided this was a good time to experiment so I switched to sumo.

sumo deads
135 1x5 - felt good
155 1x5
185 1x5 - suprisingly easy.
205 1x1 lost my balance on the second rep.
205 1x2
225 1x1
225 - got almost all the way up then lost my balance again.

I’m pretty happy with the general feel of this considering I’ve never done them before and I was tired from the reg. deads. I need to figure out why I am losing my balance? Obviously a non-issue with reg deads.

straight leg deads
135 1x5.

Believe it or non this took me an hour. I decided to just call it a day and keep some in the bank for the new gym tomorrow.

Got home as hubby was preparing some awesome sammiches with yesterday’s leftover roast. hmmmm.

Hmmm…I can’t answer why the balance would be different sumo v. conv. Maybe more practice sumo-ing?

And no prejudice against the tiny strong little freaks, K?

N, I forbid you to talk about food in here anymore :stuck_out_tongue:

A sammich with leftover roast sounds delish.

Nice “dead-ing”?
