Frenchie's Fromage

I Like what I see & wouldn’t want it any other way. Disappointment! Never in this thread. Shoes, no shoes, it’s all good. Looking forward to seeing the next piece of art.

N, you’re so right about people wanting to help themselves first, before they can get any help from you. I completely agree with you there. I also share (as do a lot on this site) the “addiction” to T-Nation and it’s members. Their are some really great people around here that have some great things to say, and i love reading every word.

^I’m glad I could inspire you ink.

I’m glad that you could inspire me too, Print.

group hug?

or orgy? hehe

Cool log N, I enjoyed the photography! Solid dead lifting also.

By the way, you’re solution to ink’s dilemma was much more diplomatic!

Welcome Chi - I’m a natural mediator. Telling someone to fuck off never really solves much although, in the right circumstances, it might feel perfect.

Well this is a lifting log, so I went to the gym before my privileges were revoked.

I was totally ready to rock this after a week and half of resting; ignoring the fact that the resting was “forced” due to being sick, not sleeping and not eating well…

Sumo deadlift
155lbs 1x5
185lbs 1x5
205lbs 1x3
225lbs 1x2
245lbs 1x1 PR + 25lbs - on the sumo. lifted 280 conventional a while back.
255lbs 1x1 PR + 35lbs
265 - nill.
245 - nill.
225lbs 1x1, 2x2
245 - nill again
225 - nada. hit a big fat wall.

Bench press
105lbs 1x8
115lbs 1x8
135lbs 2x1 wasn’t feeling it. Tired, didn’t feel the form was right.
115lbs 2x8

this took my an hour. sheesh. anywho had stuff to do at home and called it a day. There’s always demain.

very cool on the 255. =+)

I don’t really have a sweet tooth, it has been at least a couple of years since I had anything resembling a creme brule. You are right, about sugar, but anything in moderation.
Sweet on the lifts though! p.r’s are great anytime!

Out standing pulling Frenchie, congrats on the PR’s.

great sumos frenchie! give yourself a couple of sessions to feel the groove and you’ll really rock’em

and you just found out that once your body is done deadlifting - you are DONE deadlifting

Great work N, killing it as always. I don’t care if you were sick, it doesn’t show.

You’re a PLer now, are you taking long enough breaks? Like, get a PR, get a hot dog, chat with some hotties, clean something, go back for another PR, get some frozen yogurt, buy a new belt, watch the sunset, etc ;D

thanks Deja  I figured last time I pulled 8 reps on the 225 so there was room to add weight. I was expecting more but as I said, just finished a bad cold, gotta give myself time. Also I still haven’t bought my chucks and my shoes aren’t stable and my socks just make me slip all over the place. I really wanted the Dr. Seuss but I can’t find them in the stores and I’m worried about ordering shoes online…

Tim - a good creme brulee is hard to find. So deceptively simple and yet… not sure if they are “true Prs” since I lifted more conventional but I’ll take em.

Soldog - a hear you. I can usually work through THE WALL as long as I don’t try to push for maxes. Remember “false grip” guy who told me not to use my thumbs? well he told me I shouldn’t be benching after deadlifts. So I benched.

Nikki - good one! Although its more like bust a PR, turn around to see if Nikki was looking at me while I was lifting this heavy crap. Get a drink of water. Walk back near her to see the sweat clinging to the small of her back. Keep my fingers from reaching out and touching. Bust another PR.

So this evening, after the gym, I had a little housework to do and supper to prep. After supper we finished our wine watching a couple episodes of “Life” a BBC series we got on Blue Ray. That, and the “Planet Earth” series are really something else. They just enrapture me. I could probably just watch em both in a loop.

I keep learning stuff I had no idea about. ex: I knew the monarch butterfly migrated from Canada to Mexico, but I had assumed it was to resume their normal activites in warmer climates. But no, they hibernate in trees for 4 months. Those little critters hang out in the elements without moving, eating or drinking for 4 months… yeah I’m a geek.

Fell asleep like a stone at 9pm only to be now fully awake at 2am. wonderful. see I’m spooning my hazelnut butter and browsing T-Nation while my x-mas tree throws pretty colors on my PC screen.

well its technically the 23rd and I’ve got a crap load of things to do tomorrow so I’ll just post the last pic of my series while I can.

And a special thanks to Joe and Kimba for playing the game.

edit: I need to add to smokin Snapper as of this morning

Bear on Pegg’s laptop. Bc i really cant be bothered to log out and back in.

  1. I’ve discussed the e-friend thing before with my boss, a relatively unbiased opinion about most things in my life that are new to him. He relayed it back to me, trying to make sure he understood. “so, you already share a common interest with these people, brought together by a website. you don’t have to deal with first impression awkwardness and you get to be yourself, and choose/edit what you say before you say it. you dont expect anything out of each other, but appreciate the support and lol’s when they happen. I don’t see anything strange about that at all, i guess.” ok so that’s not verbatim, but, you get the idea.

yes, we’re efriends, and i’ve made some awesome IRL friends from people I’ve met on here. Laird is really the only one i regret, and even that taught me things about myself and those around me that i wouldnt have learned otherwise.

so im glad i helped you think through it, and that you arrived at the same place i did. even if it took ya awhile.

I know we tried the FB thing a few months ago, make it easy and go through jason this time and friend my ass so i have more access to you.

  1. you have such a gorgeous body. showed the pic to pegg, and he appreciates it as well. i told him i’ve been invited to your bed for 3 days, and he nodded his approval. said he might even come with me.

just be careful about those invitations you put out there, never know when i’ll call from an airport and ask you to come pick me up.

bear out!

Frenchie, I have to say, firstly, awesome deadlifting (virtual high five) and, second that’s the best photo yet - your back looks amazing. I might be joining Bear at the airport, at this rate.

Happy Holidays!!

Sleek, Slender, & Spectacular Mainy. W/out question, you are a sight for sore eyes.

That’s a great pic, & well worth the wait. Back, ass & tri’s are all poppin’.

Damn! I’ll take one. No need to wrap it, we won’t make it out of the parking lot.

Honestly, you have some serious class to go with that serious ass. Beautiful.
