Frat Curls

No (no pitching, no catching)

I was able to make friends in college, so I didn’t have to join a frat and rent some.

This is so ignorant.

You dont pay dues in a fraternity for “friends…” you pay for what you DO with your friends.

Have you ever pitched in on a party with your buddies? If yes, congratulations, you did the same thing “frat” guys do.

Dont comment on shit you dont know anything about. [/quote]

I think his comment was pretty accurate. Most “brothers” aren’t even friends. I have kept in touch with my college friends for the last 20 years. Some were in frats, some not. To a man they all think the whole frat thing was artificial.

Everyone’s seen prettyboys doing the infamous “frat-curls” in the squatrack etc, but I’ve never seen it taken to this extreme before.

I got to the gym at maybe 9:15, and there’s this frat looking dude in the squatrack curling.

Hmm.

Where the hell is the Greek community on these forums, that they let anybody say anything about us? I am a fraternity brother at a top university, and I am doing everything I can to improve myself the same way anyone else around here is. This is one time too many for such ignorance and stereotyping. Please act in a way befitting the level of knowledge available to you.

Who gives a shit?

I was in a fraternity.

I don’t curl in the squat rack.

I deadlift, squat, perform weighted chins and dips, bench etc etc as well or better than the majority of this site and thread I would reckon.

I do attack my arms though. I love curls and what they do for my biceps, which in turn earn female attention and male respect alike, however misdirected. (i realize my lower back and hams are technically more impressive) But, I don’t do them in the squat rack.

I know fraternities, mine included, have the best parties, attract the most girls to one place at one time (and typically best looking)and do provide a pretty solid network through friends made and alumni involvement.

(that being said, it is pretty gay when people find themselves in their fraternity and tatt their bodies up with the greek symbols, cover their cars with bumper stickers and really just “greek it up” however they can. It does create a negative and super gay stereotype)

I’ve seen plenty of cheesedick behavior at gyms and most perpetrators probably are not “frat rats”.

You do seem thin skinned but who cares. Do your thing.

Oh Jesus!

I responded to an old post again!

Damn me!

You’re getting notorious for that FTG … greek it up!!

Sigma Kappa Delta Tau Chi Epsilon Alpha Kappa Kappa

woooooooooooooo!!!

Now I’m going to go find a squat rack to curl in because obviously having been in a fraternity means I should! It’s my calling!

I will grow my hair out too and forget to shave for a week and re-decorate my condo with empty beer boxes!

We all do it!!!

Then I will pull some shenanigans on campus and get away with it even as an alumni in the name of school spirit and then curl in the squat rack AGAIN!!!

Broism is still rampant in gyms.

…I didn’t realize this thread was so old until I got to page 3 =\

Alright … didn’t expect that but whatever floats your boat … and there’s nothing wrong with shenanigans no matter where they’re pulled off at
