todays workout:

5x5 giantsets: (in kilos not pounds)
squats 95, 95, 95, 90, 90
Ham rises 35, 35, 35, 35, 40
BB shrugs behind back 60, 65, 65, 65, 65

then did 2x15-18 on: (giant sets too)
lat rises: 11, 11
zottman curls: 15, 13
calf rises (sitting) 55, 55

well all in all a good workout. took 55 minutes.


on a side note. i read the douchbaggery equation article yesterday, and it made me open my lazy eyes to others on the gym (unfortunately since i never care who’s there).
A guy entered at the same time as i did and all he did until i left was bicepscurl after bicepscurl and then some bicepscurls, and to topp it off somce cable curls… yes this is all he did. endless sets of biceps curls. for an hour. well, i’m gonna shut my eyes next time!

well, rant time. i guess i should’ve expected this. I did prepare but still I can’t help feeling the /fail.
mabye it’s the composition of my “diet” or not enough running. but as i’m progressing trough the days I get more unconfident about my choices. the goal is fatloss, and i’ve lost some, still got about 14 days to go.

I still have alot to loose before i can even call myself lean. (with lean i mean visible abs, bi/tri seperation, and visible thigh muscles) Mabye the guy who wrote the V-diet was right, on any other regiment you’ll still look like a pear, only a smaller pear… Grrrr! /rant over

well, been 2 days since i posted due to lazyness.

i was at the gym on thursday doing some back and chest work. not really a good workout so i didn’t feel like posting it but it was something like this:

Deadlift: 10 reps 3 sets of 65kg
benchpress: 10 reps 3 sets of 65 kg
chinups 5 reps 3 sets.
then sat my ass on a ergo-bike and paddeled mindlessly for 40 mins.

yeh, that was all i did that day. no giant sets, 90 sec rest.


meals hasn’t been logged either, 'cus i’m tierd of writhing down how many scoops of protein i stuff in the shaker 4 times a day. fishoil caps, bcaa’s, multi’s, fiber tabs, and ripped caps. after all it’s only for myself i’m doing this. mabye the mojo has worn out.

well after writing the post above i went to the gym. (it’s 50m away from my doorstep)

giantsets:
Legpresses: 10x10 80 kg
shoulder DB press: 10x10 18kg
obliques 3x10 (on the first 3 giantsets)

felt a lil better after this GVT inspiered workout.

another day another complex. 6sets x 6 reps
35kilo BB

Romanian Deadlift
Hang Clean + Front Squat + Push Press (combo lift â?? perform one rep of each in series)
Reverse Lunge (alternate legs)

oh yeah, the /puke isn’t that far away. i’m happy i did this b4 breakfast today. well had 2 glasses of water and 2 ripped caps for “breakfast”.

got inspiered by my 10x10 leg/shoulder workout. so i went to the gym this evening with chest/back in mind and did 10x10 giant sets:

1a. DB benchpress 26kg 10 reps 5 sets
1b. DB rows 26kg 10 reps 5 sets
2a. DB incline flyes 15kg 10 reps 5 sets
2b. Lat pulldown 50kg 10 reps 5 sets

total 10 sets and 10 reps on back/chest.


a good workout, higher reps and more sets felt good dotay.

well to be honest. yes suprisingly clean. well powder and pills haha. this weekend i had a feast tho, stuffing down a burger, got halfway trough it and was stuffed. ate some pizza too that day. kinda like a improvized eating day and 2 beers, all in all not the best nutrition. stil had 2 shakes and the usual pills, fish oils 4-6 tabs a day. ripped caps 4 a day, multivits 1 a day, antioxidants 1-2 a day. BCAA’s 5 in the morning and 5 after a workout.
