i want to say ive never fallen during DL’s but im afraid if i do it will happen.
i actually almost fell forward once. i was going for my 9th rep on 365 and got it to around the knees but couldnt lock it out and i felt all my weight on the front of my foot and tried to fight it up and regain composer but said to myself, fuck it i dont want to fall like a bafoon and dropped it.
That’s me, my first time trying 315. My gym tries to make you pull from pads, which compress and well, bad things happen. After that one, I said “fuckit” and pull straight from the floor.
I’ve successfully pulled 350 and did 365 reverse bands yesterday. Almost locked out 405 but not quite…yet.
