This is hilarious! Reminds me of talking to some guy i know whos pretty jacked (&juiced), just general gym talk, he’s like, ‘so what exercises ya doo?’ so im like ‘you know big compound movements, deadlift, squat, benchpress’. He replies: ‘You shouldn’t work your legs, slow’s down your progress, play rugby, that’ll do your legs’. Oh dear. I was literally speechless
this is not real, this cannot be happening

Haha Exactly, couldn’t really of said it any better myself. I think a lot of girls have selfesteem issues, and I think thats why a lot of them go for like you said the cushy ones, but then try to hide it with the good ol “he has a great personality” bs. I mean I consider myself to have a good personality, the difference between my friends and I…it doesnt matter how hot the girl is, if I got her I can get the next one. They feel as if they hit the freakin lottery or soemthing I have a lot of friends that think they have incredible looking gf’s most of them are decent, almost all of them look good in the bars, it’s the next mornings that scare they scare the hell out of me!
My own girlfriend makes a big fuss about saying how disgusting pro bodybuilders are and how I’m not allowed to get big. However I count my lucky stars every day because I know it’s actually just her trying to keep me away from steroids or anything like that, because when asked about the likes of good old steve reeves or some of the golden age guys she’s not too fussed.
She says don’t get bigger but I slowly but surely inch up kilo by kilo and she doesn’t mind at all. Sure I won’t be 100kg+ any time soon but it’s all good.
Oh yeah, found this it’s awesome. Always love a good bit of overkill:

That’s overkill?
This is Bobby Church. How is this “overkill”?

For the record, he is only 195lbs.
It sucks that this is now “overkill” on a website like this.
I perused the rest of this jerkoffs website, and I found him to be a total hipocrite. While I am a firm believer of live and let live, this guy feels the only way to spread his ideals is to shit on another persons ideals (i.e the bodybuilder as opposed to this guy) He even mentions (in a somewhat negative fashion T-Nation and its accompanying forums) whats even more abhorent is the messages left by his readers which I have no doubt are flabby pussy fucks looking for a reason not to train hard…and they found it this fucking guy who looks like the guy from midnight oil.
SHUT UP AND SQUAT!!!

Eh, the way I see it, the girls who are put off by muscles aren’t the ones I would want to be dating anyway.
What was that quote I read from somebody here once?
“Girls like boys. Women like men, and men have muscle.”
Damn you, I was going to use that quote. Oh well. I still tell my friends this every time they ask why I don’t care about abs.

The thing is, the women who “don’t like muscles” are the ones who don’t work out themselves. They probably don’t like a guy who works out - they unfairly label this as “obsessive” to berate someone’s positive health habits - because they feel it is a reflection on their OWN lack activity. So, as a defense mechanism, they lash out and label all lifters as obsessive and narcissistic. In reality, they are feeding their own narcissism by surrounding themselves with people of similar mediocrity, only to curl up forever in their stupid comfort zones and distorted sense of self-value (read: overly inflated!).
I think there is something to this. I recently met a chick who thinks big muscles are disgusting, and by big she means like, Hugh Jackman in the wolverine movie. She likes skinny guys. She also happens to be one of the laziest people on the planet.
Also, Im wondering why the guy on that site is so concerned with not developing the glutes? I can’t keep the chicks away from my squat built ass, even the lazy one.
