cool!! i’m going to try those!!
GO EAT SOME HEALTHY LUNCH WOMAN!!! Um, okay its like five pm you better be racking up the points!
Brute- It costs like $80 for a year of 15 minutes a day tests. I figure I’ve spent more on a night of drinking.
Hallowed- FINE!
I ate:
the rest of the spaghetti sauce (which was about 1/2lb of beef in tomato and veggie sauce), nuts +20
workout +25
protein shake with cuties +15
and I’m about to have some nuts and another cutie because I’m hungry and don’t feel like making anything +10
total for the day: 105
Workout didn’t feel good today. I felt out of breath and queasy for the whole thing and weights felt heavier than normal. I felt better emotionally afterward. Sometimes I think my week comes out in my workout and everything is better after I’ve drudged through it.
deads- 4x8 150
barbell hip-thrusters 6x10 100lbs
good mornings- 6x10 50lbs
Humility city right here. I used to be able to lift a lot more on everything. It’s embarrassing to post these weights and see how far I’ve fallen behind. The good mornings are actually the most disappointing. I suffered a back injury and haven’t been able to back squat since then, so I was worried about pushing the weight on those. On one hand, I’m happy to report that my back feels great and I think that actually helped instead of set me back. On the other, it’s disappointing to see those numbers.
Still working away at school stuff.
Figure 5 pages in I should say hi.
Hope you stay for awhile!
Hey MIM! I’m so glad to see you stopped in! I’ve also been checking on your log and am sorry to hear about the medical problems ![]()
I’m definitely hoping to stay for a while, but my past logging commitment issues do not bode well for this… I’m hoping that if I make it more like a journal and less like a log, I’ll enjoy it more and stick with it.

lol and yet still faster than me sober! Good work!
breakfast: +25pts
lunch: +25pts
dinner: +15pts
protein shake+fruit+nuts:+20pts
For the first time in a long time, I stayed focused from the moment I sat down until I’d finished my lab reports, half a reading assignment, and tons of genetics studying. I actually finished everything early and didn’t know what to do. lol. So I ended up making dinner and vegging out on Big Bang Theory. Shortly afterward I finally had some “Valentines day fun” and couldn’t make myself get off my ass after that. So tired.
Tomorrow there’s some sort of Veteran’s event going on at a local bar and two of my guy friends have already sent me messages detailing their plans to head up there at 1pm! 1pm! This town is crazy!
Normally my boyfriend is pretty shy; I think he has full-blown social anxiety. It took him 2 years to completely relax around me and he doesn’t enjoy being around new crowds of people;he says his heart starts racing and he feels sick to his stomach. But I’ve noticed this is lessened if the people are military folk and if there is alcohol, so I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be an adventure.
Is your BF military??

Yep. 6 years total in the army (infantry), one rotation in Iraq, and then just got back last summer from a year in Afghanistan as a private contractor. Now he’s getting a degree in environmental science. Talk about an about-face.
What is your husband again?
also DO NOT EXPECT ME TO ADD YOU AS A FRIEND IF WE’VE NEVER TALKED ON THE BOARDS.
THANKS.

Sleep: ~2.5hrs. I just couldn’t sleep last night. I don’t know what it was. Sometimes my brain just doesn’t shift over and then I start sweating, feel hot, and it’s game over. So I got up, read some assigned stuff in the women’s evolution class until 3:30am, and finally fell asleep.
I’m pretty sure that was either caused by the extra cup of coffee, or the shot of tequila I had with dinner. My body is just extremely sensitive to chemicals.
Navy.
15 yrs and still goin ![]()
He also spent a year in Afghanistan and got back last summer. Suckiest year EVER! ![]()
I’m sensitive to chemicals that way too. velly weird.

Yeah I did NOT enjoy that year. I was sick every 3 months, stayed up way too late and got up way too early trying to be on skype at all times so I could catch him for 2 minutes sometime in the day, had a heart attach every time the phone/web systems went down over there and I didn’t hear from him for a day or two…it was awful. I’m so glad he’s back here safe with me now.
Last night definitely was good times; he was smiling and laughing more than he has since the police thing happened. The military guys took over the bar- at least 5 of them were running around in VERY short green shorts, standard t-shirts, and facepaint like this picture. The room was somewhat divided into marines, army, and navy, with our table being a good mix of the three. Everyone had fun playing the bar’s jenga drinking game (Which I dominated at. Thank you plant lab for all those hours spent cutting microscopic sections) and writing on each other + the wall with the bar’s markers.
I kept track of what I ate and drank on my arm so I could record it here:
breakfast: +20pt
lunch: +20pt
exercises+workout: +35pt
hamburger+fries:-5pt
1/2 corndog+fries: -5pt
6 beers: -30pt
total for yesterday: +35pt
workout was 6 sets, 10 reps each of barbell ab-rollout 30lb total, hanging leg raise, and 45 sec plank, all w/1min inbetween.
Glad you enjoyed yourself!
Just got done with a hamburger and fries myself and it was GLORIOUS. Well worth the -5 pts every now and then.

Today I definitely didn’t do better on the raindrops (equation game). Brain is still not 100% from last night. I think the reason my problem solving score went up is because they threw harder equations in there. I did do much better at the visualization game, probably because I’m not thinking as much.
Cho-I agree. I could never give up hamburgers and fries for good.
I expect the lack of sleep didn’t help.
Had a go myself - the games are pretty fun.
