Dasher- My biochem doesn’t have lab. I actually think that’s kind of weird. It has a 1 hour recitation which is basically just another hour of instruction. I’m not complaining. Although, if I was planning on continuing on in science, I would definitely wonder what I was missing out on.
Hallowed- Thanks.
BTW what did you and Dasher get your majors in?
Rest of day:
Dinner +25
Hehe. I had popcorn for the carb. It’s my favorite snack of all time. Fun to make (stovetop old-fashioned way), fun to eat, and, technically, an unprocessed carb.
Today I was relieved to finally be done with those two labs, only to realize that this week’s lab assignment is 1.5x the normal length. WTF? Why? Why not put it all together and stop making me write about obvious things?
Anyway, today’s been filled with more studying for the evolution test. My life is pretty boring.
Breakfast: +15
lunch: +20
snack:+15
Tonight I’m meeting up with a girl from my biology of women class who wants some help with weight loss. I took her grocery shopping last week and today I’m just getting her started on light conditioning (she’s pretty obese). So I guess two people are going to benefit from me going to the gym tonight.
Wow Leena good for you helping that girl. I srsly have no problem helping people… only I’ve gotten burnt soooo many times investing time time time that turns out to just be flushed down the toilet. Dang not even just the gym stuff though thats a common scene of the crime LOL.
My eyes glaze over just reading your workload. I was all liberal arts. please read that as english then history then political good for fucking nothing science (I was planning on law school) and um yeah now I’m an insurance professional and my industry ONLY cares about your experience and your industry specific education so LOL. oops.

Oleena, hope the met up goes well. Maybe she has decide she wants to change things.
I had my wake up call in 2006 (You can see how fat I was on first page of my training logs).
Seeing myself in that picture made me realize I was not who I wanted to be.
Still a long ways off, but I’m closer to it.
She certainly has some valid motivations: wanting to have a child and be able to workout while she does, getting married (everyone has to look good in their dress), not wanting to die at age 50 like her aunt.
It hasn’t been out of my way to help her. I took her to the grocery store when I was going myself with my man. She ended up bringing her boyfriend and they bonded about how much shopping sucks while we took care of business.
Today we spent a little time going over how to keep track of things, I did my deadlifts and exercises, and now I’m about to get back to work on studying for the last test.
BTW, I’ll be adding up weekly points every Monday. I was thinking we could come up with some sort of punishment for the loser someone wants to compete over weekly points. We tally every Monday and everyone who loses has to do something (to be collectively decided).

That means I need to actually add points in my log, lol.

Yes sir
BTW, what should the punishment be?
GAWD I FUCKING LOVE COMPETITION! BRB reading the points thing again trying to learn how its done.

Dating nerds? I AM one. Hardcore gamer here. (Still, avoid MMORPGs like the plague since losing 7 years of my life to Ultima Online!)

Trying to scare me out of the contest already? lol
I’m guessing the punishment needs to be something that can be verified.
Hallowed- Me too! I try to find a way to turn everything I have to do into one
Cal- I used to think I was a nerd too, but then I realized I don’t spend enough time doing video games to count. I don’t get addicted to them. Also, real life roleplay games bore the shit out of me. Like D&D? I committed suicide in the game twice out of boredom (and yes, with different dungeon masters). My favorite game of all time is still pokemon. I’m currently playing Fable II, which is fun and I like for a lot of reasons, but it’s just kinda “eh” to me.
2busy- I know it sounds unoriginal, but we could do something with our avis. Or make the winner a meme which gets posted in a public thread (like the de-motivational one). Any other ideas? (You too Hallowed)

Yes, I saw you ladies are doing stuff like that in the Plates race.
Both of your ideas are good
I was thinking along the lines of “you have to take a pic doing something stupid” and post it lines.

lol. What would qualify as stupid? What about curling in the squat rack with too much weight and an expression of extreme exertion?
BTW, general update about my training- I’m joining my college’s tumbling club. I posted the details in Cal’s log, but I’ve been further checking out the gymnastics gym and it’s AMAZING. I feel like this is a once in a life-time opportunity, as I will probably never have access to a gym like this for so little money (and I graduate in two semesters after which I’ll probably be moving).
When I was 8 I had to quit gymnastics because my Dad lost his job, after which our family downward spiraled for 10+ years, eventually ending up homeless. Gymnastics was and is the most fun thing I’ve ever done with my body. I used to roundhouse between foursquare squares. Pretty much everything I did between the ages of 6-8 involved some sort of flip. Doing this feels like getting a part of my childhood back.
2busy- Okay I just came up with a great (IMO) idea for the punishment. The people who lose have to submit a picture of themselves curling in the squat rack with extreme exertion or doing something else extremely retarded. The winner gets to assign a meme to the pictures and post them in the demotivational thread.
