Hey Guys
I recently used the Bodyfat calculator on healthcenter. It gave a much much lower bf% than I expected. It said I was 13%bf @256lbs (33lbs fat - 223lbs lbm). I Was guessing in the low 20’s personally. It used 6 measurements - my height, hips, waist, forearm, weight and wrist.
Here are my measurements:
23years old
6’2"
256lbs
50" chest
44" hips
41" waist
17" neck
17" biceps
14" forearm
8" wrist
19" calve
29" quad
seeing these measurements, does the bf% of 13% seem possible?
I was a very overweight child and the skin in my ab area is stretched to hell. This seems to be where I carry at least 75% of the fat on my body. Could the fact that I have such a hard timegetting rid of that fat in that particular area be related to low t-levels? I had read that low-t levels can allow more fat accumulation around the abs, unlike people who have higher t-levels ? Of course I’m not saying all the ice cream, cookies and pounds of pasta I ate as a child didnt have anything to do with that accumulation of grossness =)
Currently I box twice a week for an hour and have been doing meltdown 1 for 3 weeks. I am also a landscaper so I am very active all day long.
Daily supps:
4ad twice daily
2000mg Vitamin C
3000mg Trib
cranberry and green tea anti-oxidants
4 caps hot rox
3 caps glucosamine
Diet consists mainly of chicken and 93% lean red meat, Broc/spinach, McCanns Oatmeal and fiberous fruits like fresh picked apples. I nurse a 66g protein shake during my workouts and usually before bed if I am hungry Ill have a 40g protein shake with 2tbsp almond butter and some sugar free JELLO pudding mixed in. I usually take in around 2500 calories a day. My goal is to get “really” lean before December which would mean like 10% in my book.
Thanks for your thoughts on this matter.
And thank you once again to all those who convinced me to drop the zone and start trading convenience for hands control!!
