? for Bill: How about DHEA supplementation?

Bill, thanks for answering my question about GH the other day. Do you have any thoughts on the theraputic (sp?) supplementation of DHEA for someone in their mid 30’s to early 40’s? I have read mostly negative things about its body building usefulness, but I wonder if the claimed “anti-cortisol” properties of DHEA would be of value. Thanks again Bill - I really appreciate and value your opinion.

Moderate replacement supplementation such as
50 mg/day certainly couldn’t hurt and might help. I don’t know whether the difference is enough to really emphasize to those not doing it, who might find it a bother to do, but for anyone who likes the idea of doing it, it’s probably a good idea.

What value there would be wouldn’t be
anti-cortisol, though, I wouldn’t think. (If that were the case, then Cytadren would be a useful drug for everyday use.)
