food sources of glucose

I know glucose is the preferred source of carbohydrate post-workout, just as whey is the preferred source of protein. Is grape juice a good source of glucose, or any other juices? What about Gatorade?

Dextrose (corn sugar.)

Grape juice contains approximately equal
amounts of glucose and fructose, so if
glucose is what’s desired, it’s not a good
source (mythology notwithstanding.)

you can buy a 4 pound (depends on size) bag of corn sugar from a beer store for about $3, drop in about 3-4 packages of unsweetened kool aid. it’s the bomb for cheap post w/o carbs !!

Those home-brewing stores seem to be the place to go for those of us on a restricted budget. I hear I can get maltodextrin for dirt cheap, too.
