@anna_5588 Thank you for the guidance on the lamb! Specifically cutting it into chops. That was a money play. Allow me to thank you by telling a story through photos
That was an amazing celebratory meal.

That looks amazing! glad it worked ![]()
I, no joke, want to run to Costco right now and buy up all the rest, haha. I had written lamb off before this. Now it’s a new favorite ruminant animal.
Lamb is great and all, but I’m here this evening to discuss state-of-the-art hot sauces. After over 3 decades of searching, I’ve finally discovered the ultimate habanero hot sauce. I’m about 1/3 of the way through her product line, but everything I’ve had so far is great. Really great.
The simplicity and quality of the ingredients is what sets this hot sauce apart from inferior brands laden with xanthan gum and other lesser ingredients. Marie Sharps is the best pure habanero flavor I’ve come across, and her mild up to fiery sauces are all spectacular. They all have the same basic ingredients, just in different proportions. The carrots in lieu of xanthan gum is genius.

No joke, I’m signed up on her website and I now get pepper points. My next purchase will be the gallon container with a pump.
I’m going to keep an eye out for that.
I still haven’t seen it in any stores. I learned about it from my eccentric cousin and bought my first few bottles on Amazon. Now I go direct to the source so I can claim my duly-awarded pepper points.
Seeing myself get a little heart icon from @Brant_Drake really gave me a delight!
In that regard, I present double steak, double eggs
A piedmontese flat iron on the left, grassfed filet mignon on the right, egg whites on the left, pasture raised whole eggs on the right
All about variety
I believe this is the most underrated cut of beef on the planet. Love flat iron steaks ![]()
I’ve been seeing flat iron’s get “branded” as such by some food youtubers I follow lately – Babish and that ginger guy whose name escapes me at the moment. Flat Iron’s and Skirt steaks have been getting some shout outs
Combine them and you’d have an epic “fool’s gold loaf”!
Solid C+
I’ll take it! They were delicious. Vanished from the plate
I’ll bet!!!
Too pretty to eat.
