I’m stronger and super fly.
and yet a have the urge to jump on a treadmill to loose a few pounds.

Definitely hem. I would say slightly above the knee (top of kneecap). You have the legs for it. That way you can perhaps show a peak of the sexay quad teardrop while you are sashaying about the room.

I think you look tasty. The balance between gaining muscle and staying relatively lean is THE hardest thing for me. I can’t do a big “bulk”. I just don’t feel good about myself.
I’m reading with interest the MAG-10 periodic fasting approach on the home page. ON the surface, it appears to solve the problem. And I fucking hate cardio so that is another plus for the program.
If I didn’t get screwed when stuff crosses the border I would order it and give it a trial. I may anyway.
I totally hear you Git. I love sexy muscle definition but everytime I went for “mild bulk” I never could last long enough to see the results. I’d quit after a few weeks and jump back on the treadmill. But when I do the treadmill I never see any improvements in my squat and such… I just have to keep going for another few months and then I’ll have done a decent 6-7 months. I’m wondering if 15lbs in 6 months is alot?
anyone have any experience with this?

IMO, 15lbs is a lot particularly for woman since LBM gains are slower. 10 of it will likely be fat and if you diet down at the end you will likely lose a couple of the 5lbs of muscle you gained. That’s a lot of work for 3lbs of LBM.
I’ve been adding 10 lbs a year over the past 3 and staying about the same BF%.
I think you current body comp is perfect for gaining muscle. Focus on adding some weight to the bar but also get your reps in. There are a dozen ways to do it. Hard and consistent is the best place to start…and you have that figured out.

Take it to the dry cleaner. Have them press & starch the hell out of all the wrinkles. I like the length, gives you a nice curvy sophisticated look (I’m thinkin Audrey Hepburn) & your calves will accent the entire package.
Tim Gunn I ain’t, but that’s how I think you would look beautiful. Hair pulled back should make you breath-taking.
ps. Keep putting the wt on, your ass looks fantastic…
Agree with these guys ^^, you look fantabulous (New word for ya) in every way. Hot dress, hot bod, keep up everything you’re doing, because it’s working perfectly.
Hem the dress.
You always look fab to me. Plus, your numbers are climbing.
Step away from the scale, as I say.
Definately hem the dress. You’re right that the length give it a bit of a matronly feel.
Your front squats are looking good. What made you decide to throw them into the mix? I do them but don’t much care for them.
Have you been keeping track of measurements?
15lbs is about 2.5lbs a month…it would be hard to tell how much of that is muscle and how much is fat.
I know you don’t like to be too strict with food, but if you get concerned and still want to eat for strength/muscle, a good way to do that is center your carbs around training…or reserve them for the first half of the day.
I don’t have the mental guts to overeat to hopefully gain muscle.
It’s a whole different animal for girls. Sometimes I wish FA went the bb’ing/strength training for women route. Not the hooker heals and dieting down route…(no offense to anyone!!!)
Everything I read about gaining muscle is mostly applied towards the men folk. As women we aren’t supposed to train differently, but I don’t think eating is the same…
just keep eating fairly clean and train hard. Keep the lifts heavy and rest short so you get your cardio done too ![]()
It’s all one big science experiment really.
Good topic!!

If you got screwed when stuff came accross the border you’d order each bottle individually.
I have no suggestions other than it looks great, and I doubt hubby leaves it on long enough for the length to matter.
I’ve going to agree with Snap regarding the gaining weight issue.

Thanks for the input everyone. So verdict is keep on trucking.
-keep up strength program with sprints
-continue monitering eats and making reasonable choices oates in the AM and carbs poste workout.
-alchool (read wine)only on weekends.
-hem the little black dress a notch and shop for a wrinkle/ruching-free Audrey Hepburn dress. Can’t take the pleats out Print. dress is made that way but I can totally see what kinda dress you talking about, something that tapers in a little a the legs

I have brotard syndrom - strong upper, weak legs from years of lifting and doing hours of treadmill cardio. The legs are tough for me. My squat is my weakest link but I don’t want to over-do it and squat heavy all the time so the front squat variation allows me to work on form and such. Not my favorite either but a good challenge. Plus I like how my arms and shoulders look holding the weight. lol. I’m so vain.
knee felt good today so I went for my sprints:
2 mins warm-up at 3mph
1 x 15 seconds run at 9mp
rest 15 secs
1 x 15 seconds run at 9.5mph
15 seconds rest
9 x 15 seconds run at 10mph - added sets at 10mph. thinking of going faster next week
15 seconds rest, 30 seconds after the last set
1 x 30 seconds run at 10mph
3 minute war-down at 3mph
Standing cable crunch - I usually do kneeling - standing is way tougher
85lbs 1 x 12
95lbs 1x12
105lbs 1x12
115lbs 1x7
Girl’s day out lunch and shopping with my sister-in-law for her birthday. fun fun ![]()
and then double date supper for another friend’s b-day and she requested sushi.
today will be a good day. Glad I got those sprints in.
SHORTER!!! SHORTER DRESS! you can’t go wrong --in my mind-- with a short black dress
look at that booty too! :D! you have a perky lil butt! and an hour glass shape, you do look fanatbulous!
