Focus on the Essential

Too much technique, too much risk and I’ll NEVER attempt to push a max haha
The weights are rubber, as well as the floor, but I don’t care, I can get a concussion just the same on bouncy floors

Just glad Kent didn’t win… oh right my workout:

Rackpulls 3rd peg from bottom hitting my just below the knees
155lbs 1x6
185lbs 1x5
225lbs 1x3, - fucking grip sucked big time today. Was aiming for 1x12. pity da fool. 1x5
275lbs - no go twice and yet I pulled 265lbs from the floor last week. go figure.
245lbs 1x1
265lbs 1x1
285 - no fucking go. damn craptastic day.

leg extensions
100lb 3x8

dips belt + 10lbs plate
1x10, 2 x6 - added a few reps at least
bodyweight 1x10

machine hamstring curls
80lbs 3x8

barbell rows 65lbs 3x8
95lbs 1x5 - reps 4+5 were pretty ugly

Kai curls 30lbs 3x8 - thanks Nikki!
40lbs 1x5 - again last few reps were not pretty…

abs: cable crunch curls
105lbs 1x12
125lbs 1x8 PR + 10lbs. fuckin hurray (said with Eyor voice)
115lbs 1x12.

on a better note had a pedicure, a nice home-cooked meal, some wine and Kent didn’t win. So my day was ok.

cheers
N

Nice, nice workout indeed.

Glad you like the Kai BB curls. I hate when I feel form slipping, so I tried 40 for a couple reps and was like ‘Screw this, I’m sticking with 30s’.

I’ll try them with DBs next time.

LMAO with Eyor

HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE KENT??!!?? I just want to take him and his cutie-pie face home and corrupt him. Omnomnom.

But yeah, I love Lauren and was rooting for her to win!

Imagine what a different season it would have been if Alex and Ashley (?) hadn’t been injured though.

Oh, yeah, nice training. Rackpulls can be weird like that sometimes, not to mention that timing can make a HUGE difference in strength.

I’m with Rachelle…I would have done very naughty things to poor Kent.

So, yeah. Rackpulls. But look at you on the weighted dips! You’ve come such a long way on those.

Who is Kent?!

Nice training!!

Somedays you have it and some days you don’t.

I have no idea who Kent is.

Kent is a hick with limited talent - keep him in his “niche” and he’s fine. Take him outside for some bebop or ballroom - blah!! 0 versatility. He had bad partering skills unless that said partner was Neil. Now Alex had the full package. Loved him - guts, humility, drive. He could ballroom, hip hop and do contemporary like nobodies business.

I wouldn’t have minded if Robert won but glad it was Lauren. Anyways if you’ve followed long enough you know they alter between a female and male winner every season so Lauren was bound to win once she was the last lady left.

Going to the Grand Prix races in my hick home-town of Three-Rivers this weekend. Spending time with the family. Should be fun

Hicks in Canada?

so Kent is on a dancing show or something? I’m sure Joe is still as lost as I am! lol

meet Kent.

Great, now I know who won. You notice how Robert’s chest looks? Like, I realize you don’t need a strong chest to dance, but seriously…wtf? That thing looks like it’s caved in. No, I’m not gay…

Noooo, not you too Ink?!

My hubby would never allow it if I wanted too, haha…

so this is what goes on West of Philly…interesting…

Awesome training woman!

I realize I kinda don’t like rack pulls. They just don’t do anything for me on an emotional level.

Nothing like a nice pedi to start the weekend off right

Yes…me too.

But, in my defense, the legs and bodies on these chicks they have on that show are SOOO freaking awesome to look at. For reals, yo!

riiiiiight. you want to be a dancer. Admit it!

Masch- lol@ rack pulls not doing anything for you emotionally.

I totally understand what you’re saying. However, rack pulls fulfill me completely. It’s bench that leaves me a bit cold.

x2 on Rack Pulls, loading a bar heavy and then jsut rip it up makes me want to just tear stuff up.

Hi everyone - thanks for keeping my log busy while I was out of town. I’ catching up using my blackberry. I wonder how expensive that bill’ gonna be? Well atleast I’m passing the time while the hubby is doing the long drive back.
Thx for entertaining me y’all!
