Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

I confess that…

Please tell me if this is weird, I’ve been dealing with this my whole life apparently:

Whenever I make a mental/emotional commitment to change, whether it’s stop drinking, train more, work less, stretch more, eat better etc….

Almost immediately, something inside me drags me to the opposite of my commitment.

It’s like self sabotage. And it’s weird.

Do any of ya’all do this?

Yes.

I don’t really know why. I just know that it does.

Life hack: make a commitment not to change

I am more concerned with the disappearance of @FlatsFarmer and @TrainForPain both are MIA

This just in from the HIT forum: Arnold is “probably as influential as [Arthur] Jones” in lifting.

If you’re getting the runs, incrementally add peanut butter, until the runs stop.
Sure, you’ll feel like the La Brea Tar Pits, but it beats the squirts.
Stop taking motrin, advil, ibuprofin, nuprin and even aspirin, as these prevent your
digestive tract from healing.

I’d like my weather app to come with a betting button. 76% chance of rain over the next hour? I’ll take odds on that

Does anyone else get the feeling that Netflix content has been going downhill?

A lot of it is being taken back by the original copyright holders as contracts expire with Netflix and companies launch their own services.
That said, season 2 of the Witcher comes out in December.

Yes, haven’t watched a thing for months, haven’t watched anything decent for much longer. And by decent I mean not outright awful

Stranger Things is fantastic. The last episode was 2 years ago though…

I really like their content. The podcast is very good.

Waking up with my back hurting is a crock of BS. I didn’t do anything to mess up (well gardening for an hour yesterday).

I’ve learned more statistics from listening to their podcast than in my statistics class :joy:

I’ve actually liked a lot of their stuff lately, mainly documentaries. Biggest issue is that they always have the over-dramatic soundtrack way too loud and put the narrator’s voice way in the background. Being about 1/4 deaf as-is, this presents a challenge.

Ahh I guess that’s the issue. All the things I used to like on Netflix weren’t Netflix content.

@garagerocker13 ive also heard pretty great things about some of the documentaries but none of the topics interest me. There is a series on tyrants that I enjoyed though
