Confession time.
I used to make fun of those that wear gloves while training.
Now I am one.
What’s happening to me?

You’re a glove?!
Good thing this is flame free or I would have to make a crack about your purse.
My public gym pet peeve will always be people wrecking bars with rack pulls. Gloves are harmless in comparison
Just embrace it. Add crew socks, white new balance shoes, and wear a belt the whole time you are at the gym.
Haha, wow…
Tough crowd.
Good thing this is flame free, we’re all friends here, right?
Well… ![]()
I mean they’re only gloves, right?
Its not like you were flipping all of the plates off their trees and leaving them laying around all willy nilly.
Anyone heard from @theBeth lately?
She’s been MIA round these parts
Me? Nah…
Last I saw she was back on day shift and regained access to a gym.
Maybe she’s like one of those rare flowers that only blooms once every 10 years or something.
So mebbe she don’t need us no more?
I feel…used.
I hear ya man. Story of my life. Thats the price we pay for being good breeding stock.

Mine was when I went was young guys dropping dumbells . Probably because it was a cardinal sin back in the day when I was younger.
This ticks me off too, why can’t you just sit up with them and put them down quietly
At my gym, it’s usually the beefiest dudes that would drop the dumbs, not the beginners
If your gym has those dumbbells with plates it can really mess them up. If it’s the typical rubber hex ones or something it’s probably not as bad but still not polite
I confess I made my dinner decision tonight based entirely off the excessive amount of Fire Sauce packets I got from Taco Bell earlier today.
How so
If the dumbbells are heavy and the bench is flat, that gets tricky.
I’ve seen a dumbbell break during a shoulder press. The end just dropped off as he began pressing. If it broke at the top of the lift of if it was a flat bench the guy would have been fucked.
It broke after a decade of being dropped… Don’t drop your dumbbells.
Agree. You have to bring your things up to meet the dumbells and do a funny sit up roll thing. But most often you can get up.
