What’s the probability that procrastinating will hurt you
That would be a null set
I’ll figure it out later.

@cyclonengineer i ended up getting it done. Have another lecture today and need to work on the problem set
@SkyzykS Last semester, I procrastinated my Econ homework by writing and solving an Econ model for how much time I should spend on the assignment. No joke ![]()
Confession: every morning, I tell myself I’ll get to bed early. Then in the evening, it never happens
Confession2: I procrastinated a bench workout yesterday by doing a deadlift workout the day after doing a double day of squats
I confess that, now my post first liver eating experience, I don’t see the big deal.
Not my favorite meat, but I have had far worse food (thanks China!)
Come to Britain, we can top that.
Went once back in 2001 and you aren’t wrong, haha
hey! We have a way to cook any semi edible part of every semi edible living animal!
Liver is one of my favourites. I cant stand over cooked though.
I did dead lifts yesterday and hit a PR. I then went to Bodeans restaurant last night (its a pesudo american BBQ place. I doubt there are more than a hand full in the states.)
Confession:
I might have gotten carried away with eating for recovery. It was good thought.
EDIT I thought I’d check. There are 0 Bodeans in the USA.
Iron helps us play!
Agreed. Flavor wise it’s pretty palatable, the consistency is probably the biggest hurdle.
I have a couple pounds of it sitting in my freezer and I’m thinking it’d work well in a chili.
Genuine question. When do you start to worry you’re tipping from “focused” to “going too far”?
Over the last few months my training has dipped. And I’ve been trying to reduced calories in line with my new activity levels. But every time I go 3 - 4 hours with out food or get a slight hunger twinge, I get a mild (and mild is the right word) worry that I’m getting weaker. Smaller is fine (well body fat - if I lost muscle mass I’ll be pissed). But the idea I’m loosing strength really makes me feel a bit anxious.
The reason this worries me is - I’m acutely aware that stuff like this creeps up on you. I’m 99% sure that right now I’m on the healthy side of things. And that if needs be I could walk away from it. But I don’t know if:
- This is an accurate belief. Is force feeding myself every 4 hours unhealthy behaviour? When I say it like that it certainly sounds unhealthy.
- When do you know it has gone too far? What would your line in the sand be?
Cramming down food is a “strain” or " stressor" on your body, so you don’t want to do it indefinitely. If your heart rate and blood pressure start getting too high things are getting unhealthy.
You want to be massive and bulked for the strongman season, so the off season, away from competition is the best time to eat less, give your body a break and drop a few pounds.
If you’re a little smaller and training a little less during your Off Season, it’s normal to lift a little less. You’re just not as physically prepared for heavy, limit weights.
So you can’t judge your skinny strength against your bulked, in season strength. Of course you won’t be as strong. Take the long term approach and judge your skinny, off season strength against your last non-bulking off season. You’re like 112kg in season and maybe you’ll drop to 105kg eating more normally. So compare your lifts against what you were doing last time you were 105.
Get stronger this off season than last off season. Then when you swell up again for comp season you’ll be stronger than last comp season.
Bros and girlbros, I confess, upon the holy altar of iron, that I SKIPPED dinner last night.
The day was busy and I had to get in grocery shopping AND walking the dog with my weight vest on, and something had to give.
But fear not bros and ladybros, for part of my grocery shopping involved THIS magical find
And yes: they are swimming in a pool of drinkable egg whites.
And they were amazing.
Oh! Holiday Cereal!
I haven’t been down the cereal aisle in a good couple of years.
I might have to take a look.
I’m curious, because I can’t make it out from the box, what flavour are these? Other than “holiday” flavoured, obviously.
It tastes like normal Captain Crunch: just has holiday colors.
I confess that I am going to ask a question right now.
Anyone know how to season this?
I plan on adding a crap load to eat with my ribeye steaks. I was thinking of just kinda putting them on a skillet which a bunch of melted butter and garlic.
I just eat them. I had 11 today in a wrap.
You could really fancy it up with a squirt of lemon and a dash of black pepper, but yeah, what Pwn said too.
