Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

I gotta learn how to cook chicken.
My mother told me to start with chicken breasts lol.

x2. The higher fat content is a big part of why they’re more forgiving to cook and tastier to boot. Fat. Is. Flavor.

Shameless reference to my snippet discussing why thighs are awesome (plus a super-super-simple recipe for chicken cacciatore), the 9th entry here: 12 Overlooked Foods You Should Be Eating - Diet and Nutrition - COMMUNITY - T NATION

EDIT: I confess, calling that ā€œshamelessā€ was half-hearted at best. No shame.

Joke’s on you guys. Putting yourself through undergrad living off campus and working at restaurants was a great way to avoid paying for parking, skip high dining hall fees, learn how to cook, and understand that 4 hours of sleep is plenty all at once.

I do too. My college had all you can eat dining halls and I while I never got them to give me bun free burgers, no one balked when I asked for three at a time.
Also, going to school in Iowa meant the university had a constant supply of high quality pork products.
(Being a school that taught things like agricultural engineering, much of our food was locally sourced)

I, no joke, turned down one school because their dinning hall was ala carte and I knew I’d go broke, haha.

My nieces at VT worked in the dining hall.

And yes, they’re awesome. :+1:

My school has a buffet style dining hall. (Yeah yeah I know it’s literally perfect for training). Hey Pwn u ever been on a cruise before? On a Carnival Cruise Ship?

It’s all buffet style and that was the best vacation ever. French toast, pancakes, eggs, and sausage for breakfast. Burgers and pizza for lunch. I miss that cruise.

I have done like a dozen+ cruises. Disney is my favorite. It’s about the only way I care to take a vacation. Definitely missing it.

Some guy on /fit/ did that a few years ago. From what I remember the results were…not good

I saw a youtube video of some dude attempting and he tapped out WAY early. He had a lot of variety in it too. I wonder if that helps.

The guy on /fit/ just scrambled them all and ate them in one sitting. There’s a screencap going around but I can’t it’s sfw

I think I could do 2 dozen every day, but 4 is just too much, for the bathroom’s sake

I bet you can’t do 2 dozen in a day. Challenge accepted?

Was shocked to find out/remember my age (yes I legitimately struggle to remember how old I am) and realise I can now start a journal in the over 35’s.

Confession: that’s the first time I’ve ever found my age slightly depressing.

… It’s fine because I’ll forget about it again soon.

I can have things that are shit, doesn’t mean they aren’t shit

Or let me phrase it in another way. Just because my workout uses rep scheme for 5/3/1 doesn’t mean I’m following one of wendlers programs

Don’t get worrying/being sad about your age. Like, okay if your are in your 70s and you are getting sick and less mobile, sure but otherwise your current age I probably your best age and if you have fallen on hard times, when things pick up then and your best age is coming soon
