Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 2)

Tell me about it. Apparently a chest over 40" can only come with a waist also over 40". Also you couldn’t possibly be under 6’4 so we must make sure it reaches your knees.

I have the opposite problem. The shirts are too short for me by about 3 inches.

I’ll never not be pissed about this. Apparently men must choose between having wedding tackle and legs/ass. If you have any more junk in your trunk than an average bullfrog, it will take up any slack in that area…leaving no room for anything else. If I go big enough to fit my ass in my jeans I’m 3-4 waist sizes larger than my actual waist.

I’ve upgraded all my underwear to a brand that caters for larger thighs.
Bit annoyed I’ve spent most of my adult life putting up with uncomfortable underwear that rides up my leg and needs constant adjustment.

Step one

As someone with a big chest, wide shoulders (or at least on the wider side at about 21" across) and a long torso (I wear a 30" inseam for pants), this is a problem for me. At 5’10" XL shirts barely cover the belt. If I had a big gut, I would have to wear XXL or XXXL at 5’10", or I would be have Winnie the Pooh look going (except with pants).

On the plus side, I never have to tuck in button down shirts. The regular shirts look like they are the ones meant to not be tucked in.

Random confession:

My entire house is rigged up with voice control lights (and TV and other random stuff like hoovers, all controlled through Google homes), my puppy chewed through my broadband cable and for 12 hours I had to manually turn on and off lights.

My confession is that I was extraordinarily inconvenienced and put out for something so insanely trivial, habits are incredibly powerful.

I can empathize, Everything in my home is rigged as well. Anything like that happening may send me into a blind panic and running around the streets screaming, “The Red Guards are coming!”.

think of the extra gainz from all this lifting of the arms though…

@punnyguy @flappinit and all other lovers of anabolic steak, piedmontese dot com is having a 25% off sale until 26 May.

This stuff is legit amazing.

While I’m confessing stuff, I confess that having a vocal member of the Darden forums accuse me of steroid use and pompous assery gave me a bit more delight than it most likely should have.

And that I am stimming myself out of my mind during my night shift right now in prep for my first workout of swimming back out into Deep Water. But what’s really going to put me over the top is the breakfast burrito I’ve got waiting for me at home.

I missed this but it certainly would have made me laugh like a drunken Irishmen.

That’s why my arms suck, I’ll have to stop blaming my parents now!

Haha yup it’s absurd, I didn’t realise how much I use it all either, 12 hours of discombobulation all because the internet went down (and I still had mobile internet!).

Christ… some of these so called fitness influencer types are going overboard in trying to stand out from the crowd. If I see one more clip of them doing some modified over complicated over bastardized and in most cases less effective version of a time tested movement. I’m going to start flinging my own feces at the screen which would be appropriate. Really “love” how inexperienced individuals eat the shit up. Yep…buddy that new exercise variation is the key of why you haven’t seen improvement.

FUCK THOSE INFLUENCERS

Maybe we need to form a T-nation influencers group where we just post pictures of the big 3 plus stuff like bent over rows and heavy Dbell overhead presses.
I don’t think I have ever seen an influencer video of someone doing a heavy barbell row…
Edit: we can get @T3hPwnisher to do his insane rounds of buffalo bar squats so he can be accused of being 'roided up again.

Shot it seems like all these " experts" are trying to modify any and every established movement available.

Really? How much can you modify a basic run of the mill Lateral raises? It is hilarious until you realize that people will start doing it.

Great seeing the whole notion of multi exercises multi sets and multi reps is coming back into vogue for a six pack abs bullshit.

Oddly these guys are leaving out one movement in most cases…

PUT THE FORK DOWN!

But I want my Ben & Jerry’s and abs. It’s clearly your privilege - you and the patriarchy are trying to deny me my happiness.

Saw on Alan Roberts youtube channel (don’t like the guy but he shows up in my recommendations) that a lot of people have been asking if Chris Bumstead is natural or not.
Seriously?

People never cease to astound me…

You’ve been due for a log change name for a little while now!
