Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Yeah, but the packaging is green, and that counts for something, right?

When I worked at McDonald’s the salad with a fried chicken and ranch dressing (two packs) had more calories than a double quarter pounder with cheese

It’s amazing what they try to pass off as health food.

@EyeDentist If you’re still around the site, how are you doing? I may be wrong, but I remember you’re practicing in a public hospital? I’m not fishing for info about the virus, just wanna know if you’re well.

Oh yeah, I confess that I’m glad I now don’t have to go for BJJ classes with my wife since they’re all cancelled.

That’s because, when you use 2 packs of dressing, it’s now no longer a salad, but is instead a soup.

True, but you would be surprised at the number of people who ordered this claiming they were “eating healthier”.

I doubt anyone here would be surprised by that - having lived this shit for a long while now
what I know to be healthy does not align with what the gen pop thinks of as healthy
so, I, for one, would not be surprised, but this is to be expected.

Yeah sorry lads the takeaway from my story was more: “Big Macs are surprisingly healthy let’s eat more of them.”

This is basically what I did over the holidays. I also ended up having almost 4 weeks off from training. Came back and almost all my lifts were stronger.

Do with that what you will :man_shrugging:t3:

But more chicken anus. Is that better or worse?

I was born in Wales so I’m not really that excited about any anus besides sheep.

How much weight did you gain?

Not a lot. Maybe a couple pounds? But my body felt great, loaded and read to go.

Are we still talking about eating or has this moved on?

I lived in England for a year when I was 12, and my best friend, who was from Wales, was constantly dubbed a ‘sheep-shagger’, so I think we’ve moved onwards, upwards, and inwards.

Hey man, thanks for checking on me. I am indeed at a public hospital–although we have a private-entity partner now, we’re still the hospital of last resort for the area. Ours is a fairly rural and poor region (= not a lot of travel in or out), so the COVID tsunami has yet to reach us. We are bracing for it.

But to answer your question, I’m well. Thanks again.

@EyeDentist, glad to see you’re back as well. You had dropped off the face of T Nation for a bit, I was hoping everything was OK.
