Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

I thought Labrador retriever was the “default” dog in the US?

“…Alcohol is a solvent…” :joy::joy::joy:

You know what else is a solvent? Water. I guess he better stop drinking that too :joy::joy::joy:

Was seriously excited to read that thread, but it quickly became just another mental masturbation thread. :man_facepalming:

Confession: I find myself randomly doing math during my history class… what am I becoming…

A numbers puzzle master!

That’s all they really are.

Sure… in the same way anybody can say they bench 385 or have 9% bodyfat.

There’s always going to be some level of trust necessary (and a healthy grain of salt) when discussing credentials, but it’s a combination of the person putting it out there saying “this is where I’m coming from and this is why I’m worth listening to”, combined with the type of advice they’re giving - we all know that people can have legit degrees and still be completely clueless dispensing crap advice (outdated info, speaking outside their wheelhouse, talking about theory more than real world practice, etc.).

That doesn’t just go for TRT info, obviously. Vetting people who give diet and training info works just the same.

That’s a pretty non-ugly dog, my friend. I stand corrected.

I can agree that Chris’ dog is non-ugly, and find her hind legs in the last picture exceptionally cute/charming. Very dainty.

I have 9% bodyfat. At least twice.

Confession. I think I have man-struation. Like about once a month when I get DOMS for no reason, all my joints are sorer than normal, sleep weird, and am just generally cranky. Working out fucking sucks and my lifts fucking suck. Then I will snap of it in a few days. WTF is this.

I’d say mine is more like once every two months, but symptoms are the exact same. Cycle must be synced to yours, too, because I’m dealing with it now and it. sucks. ass.

So not only can we get man-struation, but it can also synch up. Nice. Maybe next we can invite all our friends over and do each others’ nails.

This is the sign that you should have Deloaded last week.

When you push hard for too long it throws your system off (like too much adrenaline or coritsol), messed up sleep in like the first sign. Then you’re all to hell until you can calm down and return to normal.

When your aged it can be useful to reduce workload every 4th week to avoid this. Or every 6th week if you’re not so old.

They just published the grades of the C programming exam we did at university this month.

I scored 30/30! This is my first perfect grade. I’m so happy right now.

First, congrats.

Second:

Prepare for incoming ennui!

I always found perfect scores unsatisfying because I didn’t know what I needed to improve on.

Luckily I am already preparing 3 new exams (physics, linear algebra + discrete math, algorithms) and there’s plenty of new material to learn, so likely no ennui. Some of those things will build from the things we studied in this exam.

Yeah, I am pretty sure it is exactly what you are suggesting, but I hate deloading. I am taking it pretty easy this week.

Turns out my lactose intolerance isn’t in my head…sigh…
