If they made it taste children would want to drink it and OD. The same way they do with vitamins, because it tastes good.
PSH, you don’t need to make it taste good: you just need to show kids “Mary Poppins” and have them sing “A spoonful of sugar” to themselves as they drink the whole bottle.
Which is EXACTLY what my brother did when he was 3.
Fun fact: when you call the poison control number on the bottle and tell them this happened, they give you the helpful advice to call 911…

I had not though of it that way. But yeah - its pretty spot on. Mikes special juice helps save the day. Or if you want to win - juice.
Because for so long parents have said stuff like “I know it doesn’t taste very ice. But that means it is good for you” or when you put on anti septic cream and it stings. When they CAN cut it good numbing agent in there. There is a bit of us that likes to know its working.

I found a bottle of Coke in the shed as a youngen. So of course I ooened it up, took a swig, only to take a mouthful of gasoline…
Managed to spit most of it out before putting the bottle away to avoid my father’s wrath haha
