Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

After that pizza confession (and many, many other food ones), nobody is going to trust you on this one

As a solipsist, I require no one’s trust.

Actually, I think it does.

Imagine the collective healthcare cost saving the U.S. would have if, rather than having a 42.4% obesity rate (Googled it; taken with grain of salt because I assume it’s actually higher), we had a 42.4% leaner than 10% bf rate!

Yeah, but you have to account for the vast increase in orthopedic problems stemming from bros high fiving each other while lifting the opposite side of their shirts to give a peak of their obliques /six pack.

Once or twice, it’s fine sure. But this:

Nope.

My wife use it to bake healthy rolls - delicious & moist + ~9g protein in each. What’s not to like.

I confess that I have avoided cottage cheese my whole life, but am slowly coming around…

Does anyone else like myself avoid conversations at their work place when a coworker wants too discuss working out or diets?

I get low key triggered whenever my professors bring up behavioural health or use diet/exercise as examples of present bias/willpower

You can also add cottage cheese to scrambled eggs while they’re still in the pan over medium heat.

Unless I know they have a training background - I avoid it like the plague

Oops - bad simile at the present time.

I could in theory…if my wife would ever let me scramble eggs, haha. She’s got a very sensitive nose, and apparently I always ā€œburnā€ my eggs when I cook them.

Depends. I’ve had one or two guys genuinely take stuff on. But normally (and this seems back wards I know) but the ones that already go to the gym I avoid. Unless they are kinda serious.

Its guys that have been training for 18 months, and still can’t squat their body weight OR do a single pull up / body weight dip (not accounting for injuries) that are the worst.
They tend to know everything and love pointing out the holes in my training. Even thought (chubby as I am) I tend to be a tiny bit more muscular and stronger.
Yeah - really struggle to take advice from a guy when I can press their dead lift.

yes -

It usually starts with ā€œI’d like to workout/lose weight but I just dont have the timeā€

Then it goes downhill from there~

There’s 2 guys I’ll talk with. 1. The one guy who I actually worked with on his lifting form.

  1. One who has done some lifting and is curious on my view point.

Short time guys are great… for somereason on my end they seem to go out of their way to prove their knowledge.

Most time for me it starts with … you lift dont you. At that point I weigh my option.

I’m really loving how popular Taco Salad is becoming!

It’s like the new chicken and rice.

I am always happy about taco salad… minus the lettuce. :smirk:

Too much lettuce is not optimal.

Confession: I often ask people on here for advice regarding alternatives, whether implements, programs, or exercises, but I end up not doing/using a lot of them for whatever lame ass excuse.

I should be stoned to death.

PS: thank you to all who have given me solid advice and alternatives. You know who you are. And sorry if I was too lazy to do them

Is this like a hemp based alternative to good old fashioned lead poisoning or what?

I just don’t know with you kids anymore.
