Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Mrs also wanted a shamrock shake after her race, and we got the kiddo a happy meal. Amazingly, the fries are for the dogs, so my confession is I am THAT kind of dog owner.

This morning I weighed exactly 202 lbs. I confess this made me ridiculously happy.

Rocky fans will understand why.

While we are on dog confessions:

My dog gets toast with peanut butter on it for breakfast.

Some ribeye steaks have a giant fatty part between the eye and the cap. I hunt these out and give it to the dog as he goes nuts for that bit.

Was sent the video clip this weekend of the young man who tore his right pec off lifting with Larry Wheels. Keeping my opinion to myself since I would sound like a dick.

Interested in opinions of others on the situation.

Edit: There is just too much wrong with that.

The rest is redacted as it qualifies as flaming.

Saying how you would sound if you shared your opinion is sharing your opinion

My opinion is play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

On the confession front, I DID end up buying those fake pop-tarts. Just had one after a 7 mile run. They’re ok. Definitely not poptarts. The macros on them are pretty much exactly a quest bar, and, in turn, they’re very similar to microwaving a quest bar: you can just toast them. Not bad after running in the cold, but I also have a box of legit red velvet poptarts that I’ll be partaking at some point because pop tarts are just awesome.

Quoted for Truth~

I confess that I do not find pop tarts, fast food, frozen treats or baked goods appealing

Larry just handled that weight like it was 135lbs lol

Smart ass…

But yeah stupid games gets you stupid prizes.

I had no clue who the guy was until I did some digging. Apparently he’s a very competitive BB from the :uk:
from what I read by others. The guy from what I read doesn’t do full ROM in his pressing and doesn’t normally trains heavy and stays way below the 85% intensity range for higher reps. So turns around trains with Larry using full rom going into 1 rm territory. The outcome was written on the walls. Hmmm pretty obvious the motivation for him jumping into the deep end of the pool was for internet clout.

Yeah I’ve heard several on line comment as if Larry somehow easily pulled the weight off him. …

I think one of the annoying things I’ve seen is a guy on another you tube channel really pushing the go fund me for the young man’s surgery. Saying since he tried the weight to entertain the viewers on the site. That the viewers should feel obligated to do so.

Bulldog, my dude, why are you even giving Larry Wheels any sort of viewership or any of your time?

I’m not… someone sent me the video. The guilty party from this site will remain nameless.

I’d just as soon not click it, haha. I don’t wanna give views to these dudes.

I have seen like one or two Larry Wheels videos, so I don’t know much about the guy other than he does freaky lifts. Why do you not want to give them views?

Why would I want to give any YouTube fitness personality views?

Mark my words! Knowing how social media works, dont be surprised if the notion of a Pec Tear challenge doesn’t become a thing! :exploding_head:

You don’t think anyone on YouTube (fitness) is giving out good information? Is just entertaining? Provides enough value to be worth the click and view?

I don’t watch any videos to be able to say. It’s not behavior I want to incentive. There is a reason I run a free blog that is written word.
