You need a spring scale or a hanging scale of some type.
We got one of those in a shop I was at to check what the shipping companies were charging us and before long we started weighing everything-bandsaws, bundles of material, ourselves. If you could rig it, we strapped it up and weighed it.
See - its not like I want to know. Itās just that it typifies a āstultificationā of society for me. The fact that everyone should know that āthis is a 60lb bandā means nothing. With out more information that number is meaningless.

Also confession. I ordered blood tests for TRT. First set of tests I went to pass out. Pin prick and Iām not in a good way.
So I get a second kit ordered. This time Iām okay with the blood - but it takes so long. 5 mins in Iāve got like 4 drops. I canāt sit still that long. So Iāve called it a day. My GENUINE response to TRT is this:
āI lack the basic ability to A, remain conscious while pin pricking myself & B spend 10 mins sat still to take blood. I there for I have no business starting a life long treatment that will require me inject myself twice weekly and take bloods every 6-9 months for monitoring.ā
I confess I discovered that I like cashew milk. However, I HATE calling it ācashew milkā, because itās not goddamn milk: itās juice. The people that took to calling it milk are brilliant marketers, because juice is always dubious for health but milk ādoes a body goodā. But seriously, itās yummy, and somehow only 25 calories for a cup of the stuff. I donāt get it.
I also confess I keep re-reading Matt Reynoldās article āEating Through the Sticking Pointsā, because in an alternative timeline Iām a 308lb powerlifter.
Iām also constantly re-reading Jim Wendlerās āBuilding the Monolithā article in eager anticipation of re-running that program. Whereas before I had fear, now Iāve got something else, and itās darkā¦
But I donāt foresee a dozen eggs and 1.5lbs of beef a day this go round. COVID forcing more cohabitation has made certain dietary habits non-sustainableā¦
On a related note, it does amuse me to see people posting their banded lifts as a straight weight. 600lbs Squat!!! You mean, 400lbs + ā200lbsā band weight. Itās especially amusing when they also do reverse band work but donāt include the band assistance in the lift. 600lbs squat!!! You mean, 600lbs - an entire set of elitefts bands?
Iāve considered these so many times. Enough that I get constant spam from the provider trying to persuade me to pull the trigger. My thoughts have been similar to yours, if it turns out I have low T, am I going to pin myself every week for the rest of my life? Because if not, all Iāve done is give myself and excuse
I confess that I am in the best shape of 90% of my freinds/family, and 100% of my co-workers, especially for my age group.
So, I allow myself to carry additional BF, and bail on workouts and justify it by telling myself that I am in better shape than most in my circle.
However, spending some time in the logs of the members here, it gives me a reason to hit it harder, since I am in NO way as good of shape as yaāall are and that I could be - and should be.
Gives me a reason to ramp up my training and diet - and a good reason to slow down the alcohol usage.
