It’s never been of my interest to just…have someone else do all the work. I always feel like stuff is geared toward men having to…well…do all the work.
I was scrolling on Amazon looking at random stuff, and I saw a “male performance enhancing” ad for like GNC. What needs improvement though? Aside from like mental and physical stuffs that the docs can look up, and so long as both parties are physically healthy, and emotionally on the same page…again I ask: WHAT THE HELL NEEDS ENHANCEMENT? If it’s a matter of dick size, I think it’s well known that size and girth and whatever else is but a fraction of the whole package.
I mean…I get it. Society…and porn for that matter kind of force that whole strong guy, pin you down, rip your clothes off, pound-town for hours, sweat dripping everywhere, yada yada…
I’m not saying women taking the lead is…an issue? I’m well aware of the various aspects of sexuality concerning…everyone. There’s a bunch of kinks and likes and whatever else floats everyone else’s boats and stuffs. BDSM has made that VERY clear.
But like…there’s still that…idk. Notion. Maybe it’s something that was very prevalent amongst the older generations. I can’t speak on it too much since I’m a 90s kid. But I’ve always been delighted in thinking about both parties just putting in equal amounts of love-making work. Both of y’all are sweating, both of y’all are shaking, tired, fulfilled, AND y’all both get to reach climax.
Idk. That’s just me. So I guess I confess…that I find the typical “guy on top” sex…limiting? For lack of a better word.
It is, IF the students are capable of motivation and give a damn.
Coming up through a reservation school that my Apache mom dragged me out of to go to the “white” school 30 miles down the road, I can assure you this is often the case. Lots of my peers not only didn’t give a damn, they were openly hostile. And there was nothing to be done. They were shitty kids and are shitty adults. I deal with them being in the board of the tribal corporation. They just suck.
A lot of times it’s important for something to be correct and reliable. Simple isn’t necessarily easy, and complicated doesn’t necessarily make something right.
So, often times, the most reliable things are also pretty simple.
Edit: My wife often, Like several times a week, complains that I’m “way too linear.”.
Hey @SkyzykS ! I remember you telling me that you were a welder many moons ago - I also remember that you would have made a good Millwright if you wanted to head in that direction - many good Millwrights in the Penn State area!
Btw - I am learning from all ya’all’s experience with college and the professors - my professors were hungover construction workers - salt of the earth! Lol
Yeah. I started some time ago to add to basic skills, then went from there in my vocational a. D. d. sort of way. Industrial construction, tree cutting, weld robotics, fabrication, then school, more fabrication… Back to tree stuff…
A few friends of mine are millwrights. There has been a massive demand for them with the oil and gas development throughout PA. There’s a giant cracker plant being built not too far away. My next door neighbor is doing his apprenticeship now, and has threatened to come over a few times to learn how to run a bead.
First day: 6010 overhead! (would not actually do that to him)
I really should have headed that way 30 years ago.
yeah - I remember running 6010 back in HS welding class - its a good rod to learn on, but it produces spatter like crazy - especially overhead.
Millwrights are a special breed - at least we think we are - lol.
you would have been great at it!~
Definitely. I’ve done a couple of shutdowns and refitting in shipbuilding and they are grueling. My dude next door has been doing refitting and updates on some manufacturing systems for months, running like 6-12’s and 1-10 hr. day per week.
Had a friend in secondary school who was so confident he would ace his chemistry test, he deliberately gave stupid answers to simple questions and bragged about it.
Define mole:
Small furry animal.
University was fucked up where I studied. It was so competitive students would steal one another’s notes and toss them in the thrash. Was even reported in the papers at the time. Don’t have very good memories of it.
Probably sounds unbelievable because it’s just a Chinese thing.
I think it’s just a competition thing. I heard that medical students used to do similar crap here in the states: hiding textbooks from each other in the library, giving peers purposely incorrect notes from class, etc. I haven’t seen that behavior with my students, but I haven’t been teaching at this level for very long.
On topic confession: I was too lazy to hit the grocery during the winter storm this week, so I’m just surviving on Metabolic Drive.
