Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Close To You was my wedding song.

Gosh I love that song. Pretty much anything she sings is gold. Brings me back to my childhood baking cookies with my mom on rainy days.

I was creeping some journals earlier today getting caught up and ended up watching a video that was posted. It was an athleneX video talking about certain OHP stuff and some of the pros and cons. On the seated BB OHP he mentioned that a lot of people press their neck/back of the head hard into the bench while pressing. He even went as far as saying if you’ve done this, you know the exact pain I’m talking about.
I started thinking back as it had been a minute since I had done seated OHP and thought, hell, I’m pretty sure I do this all the time and never have issues.

Funny enough today was shoulders, and low and behold I was working out from home for a change. So, seated BB OHP it was!
I remembered the video and decided on one set I was gonna try it.

Turns out this dude was right. Instant pain, and hours later? Still hurts :joy:

If you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

Life’s hard, and if you’re stupid it gets harder!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is something @T3hPwnisher talks about quite a bit when it comes to training

You sure showed him!

I am not the originator of the idea, but it’s a good one.

I confess I am incredibly lazy (and even dumber) in my training.
I frequently use ā€œlack of equipmentā€ as an excuse to justify not trying out techniques that require more work to set up than putting plates on a bar :joy:

I confess my wife ordered me a box of ā€œChristmas Crunchā€ because she saw how sad I was that our grocery store no longer carried it

It looks f’ing delicious. I managed to get my hands on cinnamon toast crunch cereals a couple of years ago (found them somewhere online) and to this day, they’re the best cereals I’ve ever eaten (the italian ones can’t compare).

Are these anything like those?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch =/= Cap’n Crunch.

Flame Free: Cap’n Crunch is hot garbage.

yeah I figured haha, I guess I was asking how cap’n crunch compares to cinnamon toast crunch. guess you just answered my question tho

It’s just my opinion. You might like it more. But then, of course, you’d be wrong.

I can eat Captain Crunch until the roof of my mouth falls off, which only takes about 10 seconds.

But what a glorious 10 seconds that is!

As far as razor blade cereals go, cookie crisp is a good and correct choice.

I think someone needs to post a new poll: @T3hPwnisher

I confess I would have to abstain since I have not tried either one. #flamefree

I’m gonna go ahead and say that Honey Bunches of Oats and Cinnamon Life have stood the test of time, for me. In terms of more sugary, snacky cereal, Apple Jacks and Frosted Flakes would probably be the best for me.

I’ll also throw in a curveball - Cracklin’ Oat Bran. If you look it up, ignore the fact that some asshole put raspberries in the cereal. Just try it. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m not a fan of cookie crisp to be honest, but I think you hit on an important thing, and that’s that chocolate in cereal is fucking amazing.

Cocoa Puffs.
Cocoa Krispies.
Cocoa Pebbles.
Also, if you haven’t tried them, Chocolate Cheerios are bomb.
