Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

It would have been, but for the overwhelming amount of salt. The truffle snuck through, but just barely.

Confession - I bought one of those vibrating things (no not one of those vibrating things) to relax your muscles.
Its quiet good. And I’m loving the feeling it gives as I use it on my leg DOMS.

Sure… it was  hey we’re all somewhat friends here. No need being embarrassed. I have no issue freely admitting my wife makes me wear a gimp outfit. :flushed: I said too much now I think.

Based off above dialogue, I confess that I am apparently everyone else’s spouse.

I can spend hours in a grocery store. Food is so fascinating.

Risotto with saffron and mushrooms is a pretty common recipe here.

I have this quite often and I can tell you it’s really good. I haven’t tried adding truffle too, that might be interesting.

It sounds like an odd combination to me, but I confess I get stuck in my ways flavour combination wise sometimes. Always, actually.

I know right? So many interesting things in there. It blows my mind how much different stuff there is. Yesterday I was at the store and I found myself just stopping to look at cool food products on the shelves. And supermarkets where I live aren’t even that big - I can’t imagine how much variety there is in the USA.

I think you should give it a try unless by ā€œoddā€ you mean the idea disgusts you. Might end up changing your mind

I am notorious for grabbing 2 or 3 similar items off the shelf so I can do line by line comparisons on the nutrition facts and see where they vary. And it’s interesting to see the strategy different companies/diets undertake. Keto’s trick is to swap carbs with saturated fats: low fat has more sugar, low carb will jack up sugar alcohols, etc etc.

Doesn’t disgust me, I just have certain ideas of foods that work in my head that I find hard to shift.
