Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Everyone has it in some form, it’s just that some people don’t realize that it’s local and not universal. Canada even has it to an extent.

I lived ther for 4 months. I had to learn a whole vocabulary. I had really only been around Mexicans and Puerto Ricans up to that point, Chile is it’s own special language. I had a headache for a few weeks there.

I especially like this one from the Philippines:

Had a Filipino girlfriend once and she introduced me to this song. It means “your mother is a whore” or something. Putang = whore. Like puta in Spanish.

Some of their swear words are kinda cute. They call dumbasses “bobo” lol. My ex-girlfriend would call me that when we argued and I’d just burst out laughing.

This is a delicious dish:

“As part of an adverb: Shirley talks too fucking much”.

The “putang” part is actually a contraction of “puta” and “ang”

Puta = whore
Ang = gramatical article, close to “the”

So it’s

Puta (whore)
Ang (the)
Ina (mother)
Mo (you/yours)

Your mother is a whore

bobo = stupid male
boba = female (actually slang/gay lingo, it’s usually the gays that say this. bobo is still technically correct for females)

That’s why I find it funny that people here call it Boba instead of Milk Tea lol

Any more curse words? I only know the ones I wrote above,

boba is actually a Chinese term the Taiwanese came up with. It means “Big tits(波霸”). So it’s “bo ba nai cha(波霸奶茶)” in Mandarin. They’re referring to the tapioca balls. Big Tits Milk Tea doesn’t make any sense either.

It’s also called Pearl Milk Tea(zen zhu nai cha 珍珠奶茶). Now that makes more sense but the name just won’t stick overseas if you called it “zenzhu”.

Most of the time we just call it bubble tea(pao pao cha). Told you before. Most of us with Fujian ancestry like the Taiwanese are vulgar motherfuckers lol.

Didn’t know about the big tits part hahaha

Yeah, I’m used to calling it milk tea, bubble tea, or pearl milk tea (but usually in the PH, the bubble and pearl refers to the tapioca balls, which is locally known as “sago”)

puntangina mo
gago/tarantado = stupid/crazy or simply a dick
bobo = stupid
pakshet = fuck shit lol
hayop = animal (not really a curse word, but if they say hayop ka, then it is equivalent)
Leche = milk, but like hayop, if they say “leche ka(you),” then it’s equivalent…not sure exactly what it means but it’s used to denote that you’re already really pissed of at someone
Tae = shit (but sometimes shortcut for putangina mo (taena mo)

I’ve been thinking about farting in a jar and sealing it up to see how long I can keep it that way before I open it up to find out if it still stinks.

Anyone else?

It can also refer to a woman with big tits.

“Omg have you met Shirley? She’s a bo ba!”.

Well, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who has wondered such a thing.

I confess that I’m not watching a 15 minute video about farting in a jar.
