Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Once I have access to a gym again, for sure

This video made sense though

I think my main problem is that other structures are just taking over when I try to train my rear delts. Poor mind muscle connection?

Oh god I’m talking like a gym bro now

Also, that stance thing makes sense. John Meadows does promote heavy partials with those and sidelaterals

Intra-muscular coordination.

Science, bitch!

Haha! Good one!

Yeah, it’s kinda like people always say you wanna get a good stretch when doing rows. I don’t think the stretching does anything other than make you focus on keeping tension on the lats.

Was it one of those beasty Nordic Track treadmills?

I tried to move one of those once and was really surprised by how heavy it was.

Alright, this guy makes a great point I forgot to include.

Do not retract your shoulder blades.

Probably the reason why I feel everything else takes over

I think I may have misunderstood him a bit. Is that an Australian accent lol?

I believe he was talking about lats, which is 100% accurate. But I’d apply the same logic to rear delts.

I was so confused too first time I heard him. Hahaha. @simo74, @guineapig, Aussie accent, right?

Have met the guy IRL at the gym. Not a strong accent at least.

Yer deff Aussie but not a real strong accent. Probably more Aussie than mine though😉

Getting sidetracked is the essence of a good conversation! Otherwise it’s a straightforward transfer of information, more like a lecture.

I confess I can always spot people who don’t get real winters when I see this question.

How do you define a real winter ?

It’s a Sole F80. Pretty heavy duty, rated for 375lb, I was being nice and getting something my husband could use too. Even though he won’t. Pretty sure I came close to having a heart attavk

Cold enough you can die from being outside and snowy enough your feet get stuck if you try to run.

So like…anything below 15 degrees celcius IMO.

40 below zero is easier to use, since it’s the same for both.

Would you then also say it’s not summer if it doesn’t go above 115f ?

I genuinely don’t know. I haven’t ever felt the need to clarify summer. It’s a fun season, haha.
