Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

I was being a smart-ass

Be nice, I’m a little hard of thinking sometimes.

Reminds me of the poster (forget his name) who was diabetic drinking orange juice, having oatmeal every morning, changing diabetes drugs every two weeks, and couldn’t see why that was bad.

Nah. More like:

ā€œI started trt 3 mos ago using prop at 300mg/wk. and var on days when I’m winding my watch. I still feel like shit and all of the sides.ā€.

ā€œDrop the aiā€
ā€œdon’t drop the aiā€
ā€œDoctors are stupidā€
ā€œthank God for Me! You’re all morons!ā€
ā€œmy nipples earn extra cash as grease gunsā€

Etc.

Never even a passing mention of exercise of any kind at any point.

Just drug babble.

I don’t really have the desire to do steroids but if it came to me, I would tell the wife that ā€œI’m going on HRTā€.

If I feel a bit funny because it can be seen as dishonest, then I am going to do air quotes when saying ā€œHRTā€.

I’d probably also do this over the phone.

Yeah…amazing how no one mentions what they are doing lifting…cardio or nutrition.

I remember the last poster I engaged there. Typical complaints–man tits, tired, doesn’t ā€œfeel manlyā€ or some iteration of the same.

Me: ā€œDo some form of exercise. Deadlifts and steak. Tap some ass. Something. Maybe all at the same time.ā€.

Him ā€œI walk a lot.ā€.

Me: ā€œDefine a lot. A lot like a geologist that takes samples from glaciers?ā€

Him ā€œThe steps to my flat because the elevator is broken. Sometimes twice a day if I run out of smokesā€.

Me: :joy: :man_facepalming:

Well thats says it all… WTF?

Unfortunately this sounds like my father minus the anabolic drugs.

The last month or two of bench press sessions have ended with me thinking ā€œwhy do I do anything but bench?ā€

Also anyone who hated benching is some kind of alien that has lost brain function, most probably zombie alien.

Flame free: planning a vacation and feel 150% terrible leaving my cats. We’ll have someone coming to watch them, but I still feel bad about it because they’re used to us being home just about all the time.

Flame free:

I hate benching. Incline is ok, and I might do it every once in a blue moon. But hate them all. I’d rather work back and shoulders. Love me some back and shoulders :heart:

There was some guy ranting about his TRT doc not willing to prescribe what he wanted on the ā€œdoctors are stupidā€ thread or something in the TRT forum. And the fellow was pretty articulate.

Later he was giving advice in the steroid forum and describing his current cycle while saying he ā€œstopped hearing voices for some time but they’re coming back because of trenā€ or something like that.

Not completely accurate but this was several years back so my memory’s a bit hazy.

Don’t be afraid of the drugs - dudes be running Tren into their 90’s these days 90-year-old cyclist stripped of world record after failing drug test - ABC News

(For clarities sake the above is a joke).

But definitely be afraid of the wife - mine told me years ago if I ever did steroids she’d leave me funny thing is she did my first TRT injection for me (with glee I might add - sadist) but I think that’s seeing the need for medical assistance and understanding it, rather than me just going for more gains!

I totally relate to this!

Tren and Clomid in his system.

ā€œUSADA said the positive test was probably caused by contaminated meat eaten the evening before the race.ā€

Looks like we found the perfect excuse then

Yea that contaminated meat is everywhere - same excuse Tyson Fury used when he got banned for doping.

If there was a truly trivial amount of one metabolite in his system I could maybe buy it while still sceptical. However drug + PCT metabolites is too much to swallow. I guess being 90 and nobody really caring about that particular title means USADA is more willing to give you a pass

I’m not 100% up on the drugs but isn’t Tren bad for cardio? Seems like the opposite of what you’d want for cycling.

Being 90 is bad for not having muscle, and Tren would probably be really very good for that. He wasn’t on Tren at the time of comp since they only got a metabolite so my understanding it he probably wouldnt have the negative cardio effects any more, but having the muscle of a 70 year old is probably a big advantage for a 90 year old.
