Haha I remember eating some shellfish that had roe accompanying it at an Asian place. I told the guy I was eating with it was quite good but what was the difference was between the colours and the guy is like “this one eggs, this one testes”. He seemed a bit too happy to break the news haha

I confess that it royally pisses me off that people are so nasty on the internet, and I can’t figure out why. Is it the anonymity? Is it because they know they won’t get punched in the face for being terrible?
We have a Facebook page for our HOA and had a post yesterday devolve into 5 people making fun of a blind woman that lives in the development…I think we need a new plague.
Edit: Is it inappropriate to doxx these people and send their online behavior to their employers? I feel like that would hold them accountable for being terrible humans online.

Totally agree.
I will never understand why some people like to spread so much hate and are so fucking mean on the webs.
Life is way too short to have to deal with that shizzle.

My favorite part about it is that maybe 1% of people that behave that way could physically back it up in person, and only .1% would physically back it up in person. All the worst people on the HOA page (and on my facebook feed) are either middle-aged women or men who would lose a fight to your average middle-schooler.
I think it must be a pretty sad life if the only thing stopping you being a bellend to people is the threat of violence.

Well, I think being on an HOA board requires bellendery as a pre-req. Cannot wait until I’m free of mine.
Confession time - I found out today the builders insulated between the floor joists in my basement. That’s probably a good thing heating wise, but is definitely a bad thing lifting wise. I’m already planning out which strips I’m going to pull out to accommodate space for OHP.

Been gone for a few weeks, just checked back in on things today.
OK so I’m kinda laughing but what the hell is up with the new coaching forum? Whenever I found T-Nation like 4 years ago or so, he immediately struck me as one of the guys with the most “Shortcut to Success” type article titles, and what’s with the threads he’s starting where he just wants people to guess who he’s thinking of? And why are half of the posters people who haven’t posted in years but now show up all of a sudden?

I did the 30sec positive and negative chins once a long time ago. Didn’t like it so I said, “Fuck it, I’ll just go back to curls.” Lots of other shit I can do to get the same results. That’s all I know.

Home owners association. No idea what they really are, I think its pretty much an exclusively American thing.

Definitely not just a US thing. I bet they are fairly common in other parts of the world, just under different names. The all share the same characteristics:
-Usually staffed by older people, especially retirees
-These retirees are often pretty bored with their own lives
-They believe being on the board conveys immense power, and they will try to exercise it on you.
-They are watching everything. Yeah, that too.
-Most of them would make fine nazis.

Probably too generalised on my part, having read peoples issues with them all i can say is Ive never seen or heard of anything similar in the UK
