Flame Free Confession III: Even More Flame Free (Part 1)

Quest can be hit or miss, and they change the recipes too often. Flavors will change despite being called the same name. The PB brownie is still pretty top notch, but there is no other real quest flavor I am a fan of.

I always go with chocolate/peanut butter/combo of any bar to start, because it’s usually the most palatable.

The quest one, nope.

Costco brand protein bars are actually a much better bang for buck- taste as good as quest for half the price.
They used to be crap, but recently changed the formula

Was it pb brownie or chocolate pb? The latter isn’t great.

Chocolate chip cookie dough is my favourite

This. Ugh.

Yeah, its a dud. The brownie one has a pleasing texture.

But I also like Quest because it’s one of the only bars I can eat that doesn’t cause an allergic reaction, haha. If you have something that works better, zero reason to try something else out.

I think I tried the Quest because the supermarket had a free coupon promotion.

I’m always trying bars that look fairly ā€œhealthyā€, I like variety.

For ā€œreal foodā€, Rise bars take the prize. Minimal number of ingredients. The only ā€œfakeā€ ingredient they use is whey protein isolate. Even the sweetness comes from honey.

I miss MetRx meal replacement bars. Mainly because I miss eating them and thinking I was going to get jacked, haha.

Every young innocent’s mistaken thought!

When the proper phrase is ā€œworking to get jackedā€!!

In fairness, you were right.

Not at that particular time, haha.

I would like to add my support against Quest bars.

Another No Quest vote here. Yuck! And don’t even waste your money on one of these… double yuck.

Larabars are a whole other thing though, I could eat a while box of those.

I don’t like dates so it’s a hard pass for me on those

Confession: I’m using math homework as an excuse to talk to the guy I like

  1. I’m turning into one of those girls I used to scoff at
  2. Our interaction consists solely of sharing research and discussing classes.
  3. This guy fails 4/5 of my criteria

In college, I had one criteria:

  1. Are they hot?

I intentionally set practically impossible criteria to prevent myself from getting distracted.

That isn’t one of mine, but this guy fails that one too

I really like Kind bars. I don’t know how healthy they are technically, but I know what everything is in the ingredients list and they’re actually tasty.

I like those too. The dark chocolate ones especially.

That’s a good start in regards to young female mate selection :+1:
