What are we even talking about? Being full of shit is my stock and trade.

That’s what i thought just wanted to make sure that was on the docket still.

I stand corrected . Thank you.

I can respect your honesty

Here to help.

In all seriousness though, I don’t think the posters who are full of shit and unwilling to be open and honest about their achievements are likely to change their ways in a check in thread. I see it as a way for people to celebrate what they’ve done or get feedback on what they haven’t. Just my 2c

What are these check threads you are all referring to even about? I haven’t posted here regularly enough to experience such a thing.

Like this one:

August 19 check in.

In our most recent one, one of the most prolific posters in that thread was a dude who refused to post a picture of himself.

Point taken.

No point intended: more just expressing my disgust.

Well in this day and age it’s hard for one to get the necessary technology to take images of oneself.

You are correct those individuals will avoid it like the plague.

Gotcha, figured it might be something like that. Have been thinking I should should pics or vids of my flabby ass doing uninteresting things, and now I have an incentive.

Confession: for how trivial it seems, after listening to a few live performances of this song

I have been trying so hard why the hell the singer pronounces the words hear, ears, insincere in the chorus (timestamp 00:40) the weird way he does.

Maybe a native speaker can enlighten me?

Honestly sounds fairly normal to me. I think if for any reason other than just his accent, it’s because he’s drawing out the last syllables in the words.
