I’m heading out to Vegas this Thursday for 4 nights and was hoping you guys would have some ideas for cool places to go.
I’m staying at the MGM but I’ve heard that most places in Vegas are pretty easy to get to and that cabs are generally cheaper than around the New York area.
I’d appreciate any club and bar recommendations you’ve got and also buffets. Nothing like all you can eat steak to absorb the previous night’s poisons.
Find a club promoter. Get his cell phone number and give him a call at like 7pm and see what deals he can get you. Get a table with bottle service and talk to one of the bouncers near your table and ask him to talk to girls and bring them to your table.
Buffet at the Bellagio is ridiculous but its expensive. Better deals are found off the strip.
Pretty much all of the theme casinos are pretty cool to check out. They have a double decker bus that runs from downtown to the end of the strip and is cheaper than a cab.
Check out fremont street on a friday or saturday night.
Take alot of money, it kinda sucks trying to budget or ration out your spending allowance.
They have 4 amazing clubs, Rain, Moon, Ghost Bar, and Playboy Club. Moon and Rain are the best, and both usually have pretty high caliber DJ’s spinning. Try to check out both.
Like BONEZ said, your going to have the most fun if you can put up for a table, because you won’t wait in line, and you won’t have any problems with women flocking to you. Fortunately I’ve always had table service when I’m there, and it beats the pants off of waiting in line, walking around aimlessly, and having to pick up the woman version of table scraps.
Best Buffet? The Wynn, high quality food and a bigger selection than you could ever comprehend.
Vegas also has great shows if that’s your thing, if you check out any of the Circ de Soleil you will be more than blown away. Check with your concierge for ticket deals.
Checking out the Spearmint Rhino is also a must, just stumble into a cab when your rolling out of Moon or Rain at 5am in the morning and head straight there. It is the perfect way to top off an amazing night, if you haven’t already stumbled back to your room with some dime piece.
Seriously though, it’s Vegas, so if you stay in the mindset of having an amazing time, it’s going to happen. Talk to whoever you want, pretend that your whoever you want, and spend as little time as you can in your hotel room.
Dont do what I did. I was relatively young but of legal drinking age. No one including my parents who go there all the time, told my wife and I that drinks were free while you’re gambling. The waitresses kept asking me if I wanted anything and I was like “no, I’ll save my money for this here machine.” At least that’s what I was thinking. I declined all the free drinks.
Buffets are everywhere and they all have prime rib and lobster on them, along with everything else you can imagine.
I’ve heard that the Rio buffet is good for the money but I haven’t actually been there.
The Spearmint Rhino is the best strip club.
Regular clubs at the palms are good but personally I’m a fan of Body English at the Hard Rock on Sundays. It’s mostly a young crowd. Girls who wear school girl outfits get to drink free all night. LOL, I took my parents to a Bob Dylan concert there on a Sunday once and my mom thought it was some kind of hooker convention until I explained it to her.
oh yeah and take the bus or shuttle. Your hotel may look close but its only because all the buildings are huge. We stayed at the Stratosphere and walked back there from the Hard Rock. It was the middle of summer.

Holy crap that is a long walk in 100 degree weather.
Make sure you remember your way back to your room! I got lost for what seemed like an hour in the Luxor, drunk as shit, with a chick, trying to find my fucking room!

the club in the palms hotel
for realz. seriously man, the ratio of hot chicks to dudes is the highest there than anywhere else i saw[/quote]
I went to Moon at the Palms for my bachelor party… it was amazing. We had bottle service and a table on the patio. Great times. It was a couple years ago, so I’m not sure if it is still as popular but if it is, I highly recommend it.

Hell yes. But it looked a lot closer when we decided not to wait an hour for the shuttle to come take us back.
Bonez is a seasoned vet. He’s spot on with his recommendations. The cabs are pretty cheap, the monorail is cheaper, but has less stops. Belagio buffet is off the hook, go nutz at the Palms.
Just remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas; except herpes, that shit will come back with you.

Agreed,
If you plan on hitting up a strip club then this is the place to go.
I agree with all of the above advice, be ready to choke on the smell of cigarette smoke in the casinos. I am sure its too cold to lay out near any of the pools, but the Hard Rock and Palms are usually rockin’.
Also like Bonez said, find a promoter and get on a list. You can easily find them on Facebook and they are more than willing to hook you up with a spot on the list. It helps if you have at least a 1:1 ratio though, but it’s definitely the way to go.
