Tireflip

Wow, this thing looks huge…
Great results, looks like good fun. Keep up the good work.

Deadlift!
When it comes to the transition between Strongman and powerlifting… well, I’m just a beginner when it comes to powerlifting and this was my strongman debut, so i can’t really tell. What i can tell is that I have to try some of the exercises a bit more before the next contest, both the tireflip and the log! I was quite impressed by myself, placed 3/6 in the farmers, 3/6 in the deadlift, 3/6 in the truckpull… so not all that bad, 5/6 in the log (only got one rep up…) and no-place in the tireflip with no flips… I’m satisfied, and well… it was a lot of fun! :D
Brave thing to wear that T-shirt! You’ll probably be compared with the nazis though… Ironic? To be correct here in Norway, you should “boycott israel, support intafada!!”. When a couple of jews on the other hand was trying to mark the crystal night in Oslo, they were escorted away by the police. Makes me sick.
By the way, how much do you pull in a regular deadlift?
Fortsett det gode arbeidet!
Hey!
I know, the episode at last years crystal night was absolutely horrible… One thing is to have a march with no political symbols what so ever, i would have supported that, but allowing intifada-shirts, palestine scarfs, palestine flags… and refusing those with a seal of solomon/star of david/star on their chest… well, hippocritical is a mild word!
When it comes to ordinary DL, i pull about 225-230, haeven’t really maxed out in a while, did a 1RM a few weeks back, 220, that was fairly light. Going for 230 or 235 in my next meet!
Takk skal du ha!

try this link you femalehugger… :P
your the man! more more!!!
For that size tire you want your legs further back, hands wider apart and shoulders into the tread. Learn to love the smell of rubber!
Focus on driving into the tire instead of lifting it up.
Thanks for the tip! I have ordered a old worn-out tire from a friend that has those things, so I’ll be practicing with a 280kg tire at home…
